    Susan is a great chess player and was a former women's world champion. She comes from a chess family and she was a personal friend of Bobby Fischer. We love u Susan!

    Hi I'm from the Philippines, I've been a big fan of the Polgar sisters. Thank you for the very useful tips.

    Thanks to the great guru Susan .. Just after watching 1 video my scores changed from repeated losses to draws .. I am looking forward to learning more about the game I used to think to be a game only for prodigies and mathematicians.. Lovely teacher .. Lots of respect

    superb. I love these classical games - the principles seem much easier to see in these older games. Most modern games are full of strange ideas and deep analysisThank you

      It’s because strategy was not as well developed, so the ideas are simpler

    She is easily the best chest coach one could ask for.
    She and Yasser Seirawan, that is.

    Why is there actually a separate women’s and men’s division?

    • @Manowar9
      @Manowar9 5 лет назад +1

      Typically the men are stronger players. In a single division the men would beat the women and the feminists would be upset.

    At 19:09 after Nc7, instead of moving the a8 rook to safety ...Rh5 wins instantly. Immediate threat is ... Rxh2#. h3 loses to ...Rxh3+ gxh3 Qxh3#. Best response for white after ...Rh5 is Qxh5 Qxh5, sacrificing material to hold on for a few more moves, but black's attack cannot be stopped.

      Yes is another option, but white gives the queen for 2 rooks, black prefer a piece up

    Susan and her sister, Judit, are as intelligent and lady-like as they are beautiful! If I played only 1% as well as they do I would be a 100 times better player.

    Susan's English would be perfect if she would pronounce her v's like a v and her w's like a w....so, hope she can make this one change, and keep her lovely accent. For instance, wh sound in white...rather than vite...:) This is only a suggestion, because the wh sound is not difficult to learn.

      I believe she speaks 3-5 languages. she has displayed excellent linguistic skills and far above is her understanding of chess language

      How about you try learning another language and see how easy it is

      There are no w letters or wh sounds in Hungarian so Hungarians pronounce v and w the same. Maybe you should try to learn Hungarian, you will find over a dozen letters/sounds YOU cannot pronounce, but Susan can.
