I'm reading Arthur Rollini's 'Thirty Years With the Big Bands'. A great book to accompany these recordings. Many great anecdotes about being in Benny's band at this time.

@@tripdownmemorylane many great stories as I spent a lot of time with him toward the end of his life. He was the most even tempers man I knew.
