Definitely. Had some dodgers fans at the bar after the game they were chill but a lot of smack talk. Same at work, one of my coworkers is a Dodgers fan, so we got to tease each other a bit. The matches feel more intense too. I love it so much, these games are great. ❤

What was hard to believe is Ferguson's ERA actually went down from 3 to under 3 for the game. How is that possible? As awful a relief job as you will see. Apparently, all the runs against him were unearned.
@@vernpascal1531if true, I’m guessing it was all charged to Almonte The Diablo. Ferguson has been with the Dodgers for 5 years and every single year he was miserable. Don’t let the somewhat decent stat deceive you. This guy was a rally killer, momentum killer. Absolutely atrocious. We send Vesia, VGon to the minors and sell Bickford for a quick cash and yet have all the patience in the world for this guy. I just don’t get it.

@@vernpascal1531Ferguson came into the game with bases loaded. Those three guys all scored and were charged to Almonte. The Dodgers had two errors in the inning that led to runs. Soto was the first Ferguson runner to score and he wouldn’t have been in scoring position for Manny without the Keke error. The second error came with two outs. So the 3 runs that came after the Manny pick off play wouldn’t have happened if they got Manny out.
Thanks for the rundown. If I watched it again I'd see it, but it was so bad if you are on the Dodgers side, who would want to see it again?
This was what we needed a comeback win in a close game and against the dodgers

Right??? So many comments last night from Doger fans about being Padre's daddy, etc. Very little, if any of that kind of junk coming from us. I'm a lifelong fan of both baseball and the Padres, however, there's more in my life to cheer for than just baseball. The Dogers are a great club, wth rich tradition, but I honestly think measure of their fans have little else in their lives to be happy about.

Based on +/- they should be about 63-48 and a solid wildcard by now. However they have a terrible record in one run games and are winless in extra innings, 0-11 IIRC. They started to click when they moved Kim to leadoff, dfa'd Cruz, sent Nola to AAA, and benched Carpenter. Sanchez is playing like he did as a Yankee early in his career or close, at least. Also got some bullpen returns from the IL. The team from April-June was badly imbalanced between the top & bottom of the order.
