What I did on the Portable version of the boss fight is to fly up to the ceiling, corner her and spam the crest lb3 blade. I had to use emergency energy extensions so that my energy won't run out. Purging everything but the blade and extensions also helped.
I went in an almost completely different direction. I basically used a tank leg build emphasizing defense and just circled around the whole Internecine shooting Zinaida using machine guns with high ammo capacity to chip away at her until she blew up.
Wanted to just stop in and thank you for suggesting this guide! Most of my AC's internals are similar other than the FCS so I put that on and used my preferred weapons loadout, then followed what you did in this video. Demolished Zinaida on the first try and even got an S-Rank! Leaving a thumbs up for the help and for helping me to find an FCS that works well with my setup.
When I did both ps2 and psp versions, i can totally say than she ‘s a lot more difficult on psp. She fly a lot more higher and using a lot more her missiles and that back pulse gun.
Thanks a ton my friend!!!! I've been playing the games in order and this was definitely the fight that put me on a position where I didn't know how to proceed. With your build I destroyed her on my first try without much trouble (which kinda felt too easy, so maybe I'll try fighting her with some variations now hahah)
Oh man thank you so much! This set-up was a great pointer towards beating her. I managed the Final Pulverizer on my own but she was beating me good much appreciated! Also nice insight about why you chose the parts, that's a good way of doing a guide.
I just shoot a missile a lot to distract her while I'm shooting with left hand rifle at the same time. switch it up using the right hand weapon like linear rifle or grenade rifle or standard rifle to give a lot of damage. try circle around of her if you got the opportunity. never use pulse gun before against her. imma try it next time
dual roc4 is bad because your lockbox is too small. Left handed roc4 isn't anywhere near as accurate as right handed roc4 or left handed hp, so you won't get as reliable damage when backpedaling.
In my opinion I think the most difficult fights on psp are Rim Fire Demon,The final opponent of the VR arena And Zenaida It is extremely a headache The pulverizers are extremely easy with the parring blade
Surprised you took the long route instead of the usual short route but I'd assume that to not take the additional damage from the lasers and the shorter route have more suicide drone spawning.
Good video, I remember this fight and is in my top 5 favorite fight in all of AC, up there with the Tag Team administrator fight. Whats the music used in the video?
Ok time to recreate zinaida on AC 6. I hated this fight not because its difficult but because Zinaida wielded the LET DOWN WEAPON. Getting beaten by that scam railgun is humiliating. I was hype af on getting that gun from the intro for soo long, only for it to be complete crap.
@@cicada92 after I finished NG++... I'm disappointed in AC6 for not having a single decent submachine gun, damage or spray distance wise and the linear guns are crap :\ the only decent guns are the generic rifles, energy weapons, shotgun, and gatlings.

@@TMRaven Ah got it, that makes complete sense. It may help for the drones, I could try it out. Was wondering if ECM is ever a thing other than ACs releasing the little pods. Thanks for the videos by the way, they've been useful for getting a basic setup that I can tweak. Out of all of the fights in Last Raven so far, the quadleg Pulverizer in the desert had to be the biggest wall. Man, that was a tough fight.
Late here, but her hesd does not have good ECM defense. Pop a whole bunch of pods around, it won't matter as much if she's faster. She can't get a lock on.
@@TMRaven Do you know how to get all environmental details to show on hardware render? My pcsx2 doesn't show the big lights/lasers coming out the middle of the internecine and some other details on other maps while on hardware rendering. But it shows all details when i switch to software rendering
@@VARSITYVARSITY If I had to guess, maybe one of the changes they made to the most recent nightly versions messed up the effects again. Every new nightly build is usually 2 steps forward 1 step backwards, so if you ever find yourself on a build that works perfectly for LR, I recommend sticking to it and turning off 'automatic updates'. You can download a previous version, and for what it's worth, my version is 1.7.4799 and renders the Internecine correctly.
A tank build with CR-WBW98LX breaks every fight except Zinaida and the superboss. The first is too fast, and the second tanks a lot of hits and deals too much damage
If you can't beat zinaida with this build it simply means you haven't played the game enough. Which would be very odd considering the path to her mission should arm you with enough experience.

I used to fight her gun-to-gun with the 93RL and NIX + EN EO Core. It usually boiled down to who ran out of AP first.
I build this way when I'm done discovering cheap spots or builds. Winning feels a lot more rewarding.

Sure worked alot better than my giant Orbit beefcake that just made Zinaida explode against me.
I fought Zinaida with a similar light/high mobility build against Daemon. But with a Pixy 3 and a light energy rifle.

I think she's only the hardest fight in the game in PSP. In PS2 i'm of the opinion that she's only the second hardest encounter.
What's harder? Sometimes desert pulverizer doesn't want to sit still and that's a pain, but it's still extremely vulnerable to micros.
@@IntrusiveThot420 I found sand pulverizer to be the hardest fight in the game

Is there any help in using a radar in the open shoulder slot? Does VS ECM contribute much at all or is it just placebo really?
A fast refresh radar can help you know when the suicide drones are coming around corners. ECM shouldn't affect this mission as far as I know.
