Yes, thank you...Maybe this one will stay out a little longer then the rest. FYI the rifle line average age was 47.8. I was the only grandma and clocked in at the age of 52.7.... We threw 3 triples in the show and did more rifle work then ever was done in the early 70's. A dream come true to perform at DCI again after 33 years.
Thanks 3guy. I was gonna say, the other two corps mentioned had way younger blood to work with being they'd been going longer than Kingsmen. Kingsmen hadn't fielded a corps since 1987 and a majority of the KAC hornline hadn't picked up a horn in over 35 years, some "guests" included. I think we pulled off a pretty good feat and I'm proud of them all. lead soprano, 1978 Kingsmen
Somewhere in an alternate reality or universe, there is a show going on right now featuring the 27th Lancers Alumni Corps, the Royal Airs, the Madison Scouts Alumni Reunion Project, the Bridgemen Alumni Corps, and the Anaheim Kingsmen Alumni Corps. There are 100,000 people in the stands and every corps gets a standing "O" from the moment they enter the field.
you said you saw the Bridgemen Alumni Corp and are saying they are Not Entertaining? and the Bridgemen in 2007 had one stand still and average age was in the low 50's with mostly actually Alumni. I'm not taking anything away from the Kindsman.. what I have seen they put on a Great show... and I give them praise and wish them well... But saying the Bridgemen were not Entertaining? is Just a plain Lie... it is what We do. Bridgemen lead baritone '84, '85, '05, '06,'07, '08, '09, '10... forever
Great public display of ignorance and bias, "TufffCop". Knowledgable people know that 27th marched non-alumni guests and were proud of it. So were we. And a majority of our KAC members were Kingsmen alumni. -lead baritone, 1974 Anaheim Kingsmen-

Best performance of the night if not of Finals Week! Loved it as did all the DCI fans. Does someone have the whole performance?
