- Download the w3champions.com/ launcher. Choose "Non-Melee" and queue up "All the Random". All Heroes and Mercs are randomized, and it is hilarious.
Today we're trying out a wild game mode in which no matter what race you pick, the heroes you will be given are all randomized! But that's not all, you also get access to some crazy mercenaries with special abilities!

That last fight was a master stroke penning up his bears like that
renaming , reskining and replacing voice in editor from normal heroes to their campaign versions would be a nice touch

This mode is really funny when Human gets DK or Undead gets Paladin.
Damn grubby had so many nukes in the end he could delete the dh so easily and he didnt even use them all (breath of fire); it also really shows how much chaos damage absolutely wrecks high armor heroes.

I saw this live but not from the beggining, so i was trying to understand how the heck he got these heroes as undead and when i didnt see a temple of the damned at base my brain errored 404 and left the stream. Haha. Fun game mode

EDIT: The full story (fanfic) is that this is the scenario where Muradin was able to find Frostmourne years before Arthas ever went to Northerend and encountered Kel’thuzad. Losing his soul and becoming A Mountain King Death Knight, and with his confidant Kel’thuzad he is now the champion of the scourge. He followed the Lich King’s command to invade Kalimdor first and destroy the world tree, a beacon of Life. Enroute with his armada of cursed ships, Muradin encounters Lady Vashj of the Naga and she came to parley. She offers assistance to the fallen dwarves to crush the night elves as they were once the highborne, now cast out and shunned by their former surface brethren (as we now know the naga were mostly servants of the Void old gods, and have no love for either the fel domain of burning legion or the death domain Undead). An informant for the elven lands is useful and if the naga dare betray Muradin there will be dire consequences. So the pact was sealed and their forces move towards kalimdor.
Tyrande desperately tried to hold back the wave of undead that appears on their shores but without the help of Jaina’s humans and Thrall’s orcs in the original timeline (campaign) Malfurion and most of the druids were tragically killed before being awoken. Tyrande luckily was able to free Illidan from his prison during the chaos and enlist his help but there is no skull of guldan to empower him here and the Night elves were constantly pushed back.
Now, this video show the last stand of the elves in their final fight to save Kalimdor. Muradin, though he lost his soul to frostmourne, was still a seasoned warrior and master strategist. Ever the pragmatic and infinitely less arrogant than the human prince Arthas, he offered an ultimatum to all the Neutral camps facing his scourge army: Join and fight while still living, or die and be eternally enslaved. (This is a stark contrast to how Arthas treated his mercenaries in the original timeline). With no choice but to serve the lich king, the denizens of Neutral camp swore their loyalty and destroyed the remaining Night Elves.
With world Tree Burning and the night elves raised into undeath, Muradin now set his sights back on the Eastern Kingdom.
A similar cinematic is played of his homecoming to Ironforge with an entourage of extremely pale dwarves following him. Crowds of dwarves and gnomes cheer as their prince and hero of the dwarves return from his long expedition to Northrend in search of legendary artifacts. His Brother, King Magni, welcomes him in the Throne room. Magni being a legendary blacksmith himself, wish to see the Mourne Blade that Muradin successfully retrieved. As Muradin steps up to offer the blade to the High King, he instead stabs him in the chest. Eyes wide opened, Magni simply gasped his final words “Muradin! Hwhy!!??” Muradin leans in and whispered to his ear “Succeeding you, Brother.” All hells break lose as kel’thuzad (still technically human and hasn’t become a lich yet) opens portals to allow countless undead into the city and slaughtering almost everyone. Ironforge, the impenetrable city that stood for centuries and survived both the war of 3 hammers and the horde invasion, fell in days to this act of betrayal. Gnomeregan soon follow and the Lich King readily accept the primal Troggs into undeath as a particularly new breed of ghouls called “Trogghouls” and highly magic resistant. The scourge onslaught soon move north to the human kingdom as Dalaran is the next target…

The merc camp seems fun to play around with
Technically, you could Unsummon enough buildings to buy Haunted Gold Mine, then build up enough money to get what you want.
The topic at the start about moba toxicity: I beta'd league a super long time ago. Loving the OG wc3 DOTA and it was sooo toxic and it was affecting me the same exact way as Grubby described and I was like this is not for me. As soon as I gave it up, I was happier. Heroes of the Storm was and still is the best MOBA, it does so much to squash or quell the toxicity - the whole game was crafted for teamwork. Alas, blizzard failed HotS to bad - I hope MSFT does something positive with it.
How fun would it be if also for example Crypt you could produce a random t1 melee unit from all races + Mercenary camps have random mercs from all that exist for example a random lvl 1, 2 ,3 .... creep :D
The option of starting with a random hero sort only game play option, well, besides handycap health. Something like this really should of been a gameplay option in the base game to showcase all the cool creep models.
That last battle was terrific.

Poor Oppo had the worst positioning in that last fight. In the corner clumped up vs all your AoE and then your yeti lands a huge stomp on their entire army.

and grub was just using mostly random mercs, maybe those high level mercs are really strong

If I remember correctly techically he was wrong about Sand King. There are 2 versions of this scorpion model in the map editor. The one he bought has only ranged attacks. The Cryxalis in dota1 uses the other one (they slightly differ in color)

In dota this is the equivalent of being a Mirana dps hero facing a slitherin Guard Slardar, a Spirit breaker and maybe Centaur Chieften or Ursa. Missing only the time capsule of the facelessvoid. The power of Bash is op. Unparallel power.

if you get 3 aura heroes in this mode it gets really strong
Can you consider playing Test of Faith map? It's a heavy macro defense map, see you control and having problem to macro all the neutrals remind me about that map. It also used races units and neutrals of WC3 so it's not hard to get use to.
hey grubby, i only played dota 2 but love to watch ur wc3 content, why do you think the culture of losing for dota 2 is the way that it is? do you think it is because MOBAs require teamwork while WC3 generally is an individual’s effort? Would love to hear your opinion about it during one of your videos!

Are lags still active also in new games, or is it just Blizzard and POE for me? I play already only POE or Hearthstone, however, in the both games you can still experience lags in many matters also with the stable and good connection. I would like to know if its still general problem in gaming industry because in 2000 i expected that 2025 would be working without lags....

Dota 2 toxicity is beyond repairable. Happy that you decide to move on
i stopped dota2 for the same reason. i actually don't play any online game with matchmaking for this reason, actually. i've grown tired of randos. it's always unbearable. i'd rather play alone. i wish the game had competent bots to entertain me offline.
Dota 2 Community sucks. Period. I quitted because i couldn't stand it anymore as a person that values manners.
