I have been waiting for like 3 years.
The ending is the perfect visual metaphor for how the Battlefield franchise has become nothing more than a flailing unstoppable corpse you can only enjoy by watching with schadenfreude from the sidelines.
I've played the game since release and it's been fun every day, especially infected. All the battlefield games are this shitty, I really, truly, do not understand why this one went differently. Bad company two was a piece of shit that barely worked and it was fun as hell, same as this one

The really impressive part about the trailer is that they got the game to run well enough to get any footage at all.

The best part about this is that it will never end. The overwhelming percentage of people playing these type of games purchase them at full price on release day; poor ratings, reviews, and even performance matter almost zilch.
It's literally DICE's first slipup if you don't count BF V. I can see if they've had two, three, four slipups but since that's not the case, this comment's a weightless opinion.

Haha, the rooftop scene was my experience with this horrid game. Almost immediately requested a refund after my target turned around, clearly unfazed by my 30 rounds, and clapped me with a quick burst.

Hit registration and elevator bugs are very rare and most are gone now that they patched rubber banding on day 5 of the early access before the release date.

I haven't bought a supposedly "AAA" or big budget game for years. The large developers simply don't care about quality anymore and get away with blatant false advertising every time. I don't care if they release a game that is good anymore because they'll just make a "sequel" 1 year later that destroys the community anyway. Plenty of great older games to play still and lots of indie titles.

I believe that when Dunkey puts together videos where the footage speaks for itself, and there is no commentary from Dunkey himself, he still sits down, watches the video, turns on the mic as if he were going to speak, records the silence as he sits there elbows-on-desk, hands together over his mouth, holding his head up with his thumbs in disbelieve the whole time, and includes the recorded silence in his final upload. It is functional. In almost 100 hours, I've had none of these bugs at all. I've had very few, and the same goes for the people I play with. I'm not saying they don't exist, obviously they do as evidenced by the hilarious video, but there are too many people simply jumping on the bandwagon.

It's refreshing to see a big studio like DICE taking a chance on an ambitious game in a totally new genre that has never been made before. Naturally, having no prior experience with a game like this, there are bound to be some teething troubles, but I'm sure with EA's support they'll get ironed out pretty quickly...

Of course my experience isn’t everything but it’s definitely not an uproar as you say. If you watch shrouds uploads on youtube his videos make it seem to be the exact experience you want while playing BF, gunning down enemies in a tank with a buddy and he experienced maybe a handful of bugs.
