I LOVE when he said, "ignoring the color like you should be doing " 🥰🤣😂👍👍
You know I tried telling a cop that. He still gave me a ticket though.
@@bradsanders407haha
“Ignore the color, like you’re supposed to be doing.” Awesome dude! Gained a follower!!
Thanks for spending the money, taking the time and making this video!
Thanks for watching
I work at a dairy farm as a kid. When the milk was ready to sell a Borden tank truck came by to fill up. 2 hrs later an unmarked tank truck came by to fill up. Same milk different prices.
And Borden claims fresher milk haha
You are a doppelgänger for a college friend of mine in IL. You look and sound just like him.
@@jacquelinel1618 I feel sorry for that guy 😄
Wow……great job! Thank you!!👍🏻❤️
Great video. Very informative. Used the fill n seal spray foam for the band joists in basement.. Got them on sale. No difference in quality or quantity.
Nice glad this helped have a great one
I koved into a cottage that was built horribly and has cracks going straight outside, getting sick of spiders! Looking for something that can fill those cracks, this looks like it. Thank you
Great video thanks
This is the same thing that’s done with everything I have worked in many plants and they just change labels! Same products just charge less for off brands
Is the fill and seal closed cell foam like great stuff?
Make sure you always use an organic mask when using this. I almost died from it when sealing my basement foundation. I was a dumb kid at the time. Now a smart geezer.
And how did you almost die?
@@bradsanders407 inhaling it.
Yup. I had no mask, no gloves and got it all over my carhartt overalls id had for 15 years. Had $hit on my hands for weeks
Mist the foam lightly with water using a spray bottle. Will expand and cure faster.
@@drophammer776 cool
Think this is a good option to seal the bottom corners of a garage door?
Reckon the shape would change the expansion rate/ amount
Good video.
Thanks.
Saving money rocks!😎👍
You bet!
I'll never not find it fascinating how companies get consumers to pay for their marketing department.
I want funnel cake now…
Yea a foam one might taste like great stuff
I can’t it get it to spray where I want it to spray. No matter what I do, it sprays everywhere EXCEPT where I want it. I ended up using my hands to put it where it should be.
Oh no did you not put the straw on it?
Like you should be doing! I love it!
Thank you so much

Visual inspection is not enough here. It may have a different composition. I Wana see them rise in a restricted environment as a cheaper one may not be as safe so it could push a wall out easier . Let's see some flame on it, let's see some outdoor foam after a season, let's introduce it to water for a week and see what happens and let's consider some other factors that may exist. You could be correct with them being the same... I'll change the product and see if you still feel your argument holds up to scrutiny... I can go to a shell gas station and their are 4 types of fuel available, the prices vary but when I poured a gallon of fuel in a can it was the same gallon as the others.. therefore they are the same thing and they just market them differently. There could he density differences. One has compressed air vs another has nitrogen to pressurize the can.. benefits may exist. I appreciate your attempt but I look at the fridge harder at midnight for a snack than you looked into the differences and variables involved
Have you tried Secure Set spray foam? There are some videos here on YT that show it.
or maybe you just wanted to put someone down over spray foam, even though you did not present a chemical analysis of each can. So you're probably mistaken but much like you, I'm talking without fact. IDIOT.
beware of expiration dates too, some only last a year.
Is it good for cement fill
Did you examine the ingredients of both?
yea fill &seal has more black pepper
That's hilarious. And you can see the same type of marketing and many products sitting on the same shelf right next to each other
great seal for $3-4 is at lowes and home depot, fill and seal is $8-$30 a can and can be found absolutely nowhere physically its online only, thanks though
Not all store stock it I know menards has it
Kinda like the same thing gasoline stations do. Chevron, Mobil, Unocal 76 and all the other gas stations get fuel from the same refineries!
I'll one up you on this! My theory is that all three hoses (87, 89, 92 octane) go to one tank.🤔🤣😭. That's why the tank is underground, so you can't see it.
@@johncollins7044 2 Tanks. 1 for 87 and 1 for 92. The 89 is blended inside the pump....the more you know.
good vid and info
Great video. Thank you
Thanks
which one is best for raising a concrete patio?
Never tried this with can foam
eye opener!
Great stuff say 1" gaps the other says 3" gaps could it be a durability difference?
Just different amount of expansion.
THANKS!
Thanks for watching
What you think anout the bigger cans? By weight the one in this video says 16 oz they have 24 oz bigger ones u can use metal guns i wonder if they are 5 or more times bigger by volume? They say can fill up much more so any idea?
I actually have a comparison video on this very thing
But which brand can be used right side up or upside down or in any position....... i just used Great Stuff upside down on floor gap, then I tried to use it on over head with can facing down and it wouldn't work, wasted half a can........
They both have to be used upside down
@@JaysToDoList upside down is the method of use? wonder why?
@@job38four10 yes upside down is best
But I only pay $3.00 at Home Depot for the name brand ‘Great Stuff”
Is that expensive?
Not really at the time of this video feel and seal was 1.99 and great stuff was 2.99
@@JaysToDoList 16 dollars a can! : www.amazon.com/Dow-Chemical-157859-Expanding-Insulating/dp/B0002YX9FC/ref=sr_1_3?crid=HPYAXY8FM600&keywords=fill+and+seal+expanding+foam+sealant&qid=1659991462&sprefix=fill+and+seal%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-3
@@JaysToDoList wow, after 2months, I paid $4.xx, closed to $5.00. unbelievable.
@@alhambra119 yup this inflation sucks
If the government just forced companies to pay entry level low skilled employees more money everything will get better....🤔
If you buy10 cans that= 5 dollars, thanks for sharing.
does it seal well like water proof if i fill hole?
I wouldn't recommend either of these to seal somthing tonkake water proof
@@JaysToDoList thank you i am trying to seal holes they are small but surface is plastic do u know any calk or silicone that i can use? Must work on plastic surface
3 bucks ?$$. Try more like 12$$ over here in Canada
This was recorded 2019 this is proof Canada was affected badly too by por politics too
no one gives a shit about Canada. Stop talking.
When you are trying to stay on shcedule 50 cents is cheap . Send the crew home they don't have the cheap stuff . Not arguing with your content . Just making a point
Agree I just suggest if you have a choice reach for the lower cost can totally understand you got to get the job done however
I used some foam and it all turned brown and flaky, was absolute garbage
Gross sounds like ot may of been frozen at some point
I’m thinking that or not thick enough layer- temperature and moisture levels?
Which one tastes better? Do Not Eat!
the one in the red can is Great Stuff !!
Fill and sill is a joke lol
So the bottom line is both are same product but different packaging and different prices, this is to save their nose by Not having to bring the price down of their popular brand as it may not have been selling as well as other rival products, so they launched an alternative packaging same product but much cheaper instead of bringing their main popular product t price down as that would make them look losers if they had to bring the prices down. so they repackaged it just to save their nose. Cunning ploy!
lol $3, its like $15 everywhere around me now :/
no it is not
Wow 15 bucks go somewhere else your being screwed
@@JaysToDoList can't go somewhere else, litterally everywhere sells it for that price in Toronto 😔
@HavokBWR wow I guess I took my pricing for granted good luck
