psychoticgiraffe I think this might be the issue: before starting any game or program, make sure to turn off the "memory protect" function on your FB-01. The drum data is probably coming from the game, but memprotect blocks it if it is not disabled. It's under system setup. Let me know if this worked :)
***** oh I see, but why can't i make any midi file do this to the fb-01 with it's drum channel as most of these games used midi if i wanted to implement those drums into the memory semi permanantly how would i do that
psychoticgiraffe Sorry, that's beyond my depth. The issue might be that FB-01 is MIDI, but it predates the General MIDI standard, and handles channels differently, plus does not have dynamic instrument mapping (so you cannot change an instrument during a song). Did you try using fb01se to create/save your drum setup?
how do the drums come out of the yamaha fb01
