The gap is because of noise reduction. Other bows, which have no gap, sometimes a strip of electrical tape between cam and mod is needed to get it silent.
We he went to pull it back that is how I felt with my 2022 Bear Paradox. It had been 15 years since I had pulled a bow and I thought I was strong but had to back the limbs out 4 turns to begin with. I will say my paradox let’s off so much that it almost makes me feel like it is hung up, it is hard to explain but if you draw it and let it down you almost wonder if the string will go limp for a split second. Great shooting bow though. I want a PSE but will probably opt for the Stinger
I'm confused by your comment that you couldn't feel letoff. I almost didn't buy one because of that. However I decided to test one. However, the one I tested has a very pronounced letoff. I could hold it very long itcwas such a pronounced letoff. The one thing I wonder is if it was because you were shooting at the high end of power and I was at low end. I'm in my 70s and can't draw a 70lb bow, yet.
I bought the same bow with 70lbs pull. 49 here in good shape. I couldn't believe how much I had to pull to get that back. Been a while but damn felt stronger than 70lbs. Great bow though
@@Cuisinenomade1 that’s a good question. If they start out in time, sure. If they are a little out of time at brace, I would think that it would be consistently out of time. Then you may hit the string stop on one cam while the other hasn’t even hit the valley yet. But even if the binary system corrected for that by the end of the draw cycle, the cables would be under different amounts of tension. No free lunch.
I really like your videos, they are informative. After all this time, have you sold more of them? And if so how are they working? Also I would like to ask, do you know or tried or sold the Brute NXT 2020? If so what do you think is better the Stinger ATK or the Brute NXT 2020? I have those two options as my first compound bow and that's why I ask. Thanks for the videos!
Steven I have watched this video about 10 times now this bow needed to be checked on a draw board as the cam timing was majorly out of spec. But thank you (very much) for the videos on more budget concious buyers options.
Crazy I have one set for 50lbs and at full draw it's only 8lbs per bass pro who set it up. Which would put it right at that 80%. 28" draw is best for me it seems. Haven't been able to shoot the bow yet I need to get my girlfriend her own so we don't need to share
Why would anyone want to buy a bow where it's known the capable can get stuck in that " gap"? That would always be in my mind every time I would draw it-- no good at all??
Hey Steven, how did you fix the problem with the cable in the gap of the cam? Have this bow and put a few hundred shots through it and now I'm having this issue. Thanks
Well shoot, my brute nxt broke right before deer season, long story short pse is sending me a brute atk to replace it… man I hope I don’t have troubles with the cables like you said because my nxt made a loud crack sound then I had zero tension on my string at full draw, the stop traveled too far and got locked up 😢 looks like I might be in for more troubles 🤞 I’ll be ok.
@@TomNeth awesome bow. No problems just a little heavy and slightly louder than the NXT. Not by much though. Would recommend if your not trying to spend 2000 dollars on a fully loaded mathews
I ended up with a PSE Drive pro . For a little bit more you get the factory tuned stings, a twin cam system and parts similar to top end bows. I love it

Bought one yesterday. It felt like the best option for me.
I Bought, a PSE Brute, NXT ( SMOOTH,.. BT Cams ) instead of,.. the ATK
May I ask...PSE Brute vs PSE Drive?
Looks just like my drive nxt but with different stickers on the limbs
Another great review and I'm sure you're NOT IMPRESSED.
Look like he would just as soon been eating broccoli
It’s a good bow and a bargain. If there is little to no let off then your cams are probably way out of time. I think you probably know that
Would binary cams as this bow has ,get rid of that problem?

Less Headaches with, the older, 2022 Model, Brute NXT ,.. IMO !
Been waiting for this review. Thanks

I'm stuck between this bow or bear resurgence. Plz help

Did you ever get the issue resolved?
I took my bow to a pse dealer because this happened to me 3 times. The dealer used the warranty to replace my mods and now my bow works perfect
Wish I had purchased years ago

How does the atk shoot? I just exchanged my nxt for an atk

Hi does anybody know what size axle this bow has either 3/16 or 1/4 like I have on my Pse Embark.
cheers for review 👍always a poodle yapping 😂😂
My PSE Lazer has the same gap between the module and cam
Have you had any issues with your cables getting stuck?
@@surviveitforbeginner aye twice got it sorted now
can't see the word shootdown in that sweater. 😅
Doesn't look very comfortable to shoot
Top cam is out of time.. was never hitting full cycle.. sounded fucken weird for a PSE.. sounded like a Chinese knock off...
Ye it looks like the drive with strange cams it's getting to much a bow in-between drive a stinger what next
is it able to be hunted african elephant by it?
Without going and grabbing mine those cams look almost exactly like my Brute NXT cams.
Hey mate
How do you find the brute nxt
I’m currently looking at getting one over the stinger
Thanks

That doesn't sound like a nice bow to shoot compared to the Drive NXT
Bow sounds weird
Ha ha! Extremely unusual... She never barks in other videos!
