  • Linz / Austria is a city midway between Salzburg and Vienna. Located in Upper Austria Linz is one of the most picturesque cities in Austria, famous for its many churches, museums, and cultural activities. Linz was home to some of Austria's most famous persons like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the scientist Johannes Kepler.
We start our Linz walking tour at the Dreifaltigkeitssäule on the main square and end at the train station covering most of the city center of Linz.
For another tour of Linz (in June 2019), please see this video: • Walking in LINZ / Aust...
Note: Two times the Pocket 2 overheated during this walk. There are a few cuts in the video where I waited for the camera to cool down to continue
    Filmed in July 2021
Camera: DJI Pocket 2 in 4K60

Yes, I loved this amazing walking! New streets and buildings I could know this time. And you finished showing before the central station a lion, my favorite animal. Thanks!!

What a lovely and chill tour in Linz POPtravel! This shot is epic at 28:12; those arch ceilings remind me of the ones in the hallways of Grand Central Station here in NYC. Awesome.

The Maribor video you commented on had audio issues and will be fixed / reuploaded later. Linz is nice indeed. It just happened that I never spent a night there. Here it was a day trip from Salzburg, another time I visited on the way on the way to Vienna

once again a great video of linz thnx for that 💯
if u r ever here again may i suggest a ride with the mountain railway up to the top of pöstlingberg. the railway itself is considered one of the steepest railways in the world and the view during the ride is amazing. speaking of view there is a viewing plattform on top and overall it looks like a fairytale village even tho still being in the city (and yes there is another church lol). since it looks like something out of a storybook there is also a ride with a dragon (another railway) through the world of dwarfs (the ride is for children and adults) and some more to discover overall.
hope to welcome u again here 👍

Thank you for the tips. I will see when another trip may be possible. Linz sure is one of my favorites in Austria. Each time I just passed through or did a day trip. Maybe next time I can stay for a few days when I travel around Austria again

Did you go to some quiet and mystery countries, such as: Mongolia, Nepal, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Tunisia, Costa Rica, Iceland, Kosovo, Greenland, Silk Road, Lebanon, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Ecuador, Armenia, Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Oceania islands and countries.

Yes, I've been to most places you mentioned. As I started taking videos from end of 2018/early 2019 and hardly any travel was possible/fun in 2020/21 here is a detailed list to your question:
Nepal: traveled there for a month in 2017, hiked the Annapurna Circuit for 14d which was the best
Ireland: many videos are here on the channel
Iceland: also been there though 2008 for 2 weeks, even Greenland
Oman: also been to Muscat on a 1d layover to Sri Lanka and saw the city
Ecuador: lived and traveled there around 2013 for a total 9 months, also Galapagos cruise
Armenia: traveled all around in 2016 till Tatev, as well as Georgia for another 3-4 weeks
Albania: traveled again there this year. 5 videos total were filmed are coming to the channel, Durres is there
Belarus: also been there for 5 days in 2017 when it was easy-going and fun
Kosovo: been to Prishtina and Pej on my way around the Balkans
Silk Road: in 2018 I traveled for 2 months from Kazakhstanto Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan (complete Pamir highway) and Uzbekistan on or along the Silk Road.
Overall I've been to more than 90 countries in my life so far and visited several 10 times and more. I also spent several months in over a Dozen of these countries.
As for Liechtenstein (Vaduz?), Tunisia, Costa Rica (had a layover), Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Andorra, Oceania islands - they are not really high on the list due to either security, climate or walking infrastructure. Lebanon was nearly done in 2020 from Cyprus, then explosion/pandemic hit. I'm currently traveling in Turkey though and a new multi month Asia trip is planned for early 2023. Higher on the list is a revisit to South America for a few months sometimes later 2023. Mongolia is also on the list for traveling the Trans-Siberian railway again, which I did in 2013 from Vladivostok (coming from Kamchatka) to Moscow. I spent over 400d in Russia by 2013 but tourism and video filming may need some time again.
I took many photos and few videos on my trip over the past 20 years. The video tech (4K60 stabilized) is just good since 2018 so I wonder if people really want to see low-res shaky videos or a photo show from these earlier places. If you want more info, email is in the "About" page.
