yeah. only 3 small pockets are really a turn-off. how hard is it to get right. the north face does it almost perfectly with the past recon organization (not the new one). a good fleece tablet, a ziped pocket, a few pen holders and 4 phone size pockets with one fleece. it can still ber improved but ospery doesnt seem focued on that which seems annoying.
I got a really good deal on the women's Talia (I'm female), currently on closeout sale for 89$ instead of 150$. I wonder if that's because they're planning to update it to be on par with the Tropos. I've still got the older organization panel and no way to store the compression straps but that's alright with me. Bonus points for the Dell XPS 15! It was funny to watch you pull the same laptop out of (nearly!) the same bag. :)
Now I can't find any "daypack" has the mesh back panel like this, but the Tropos is so big and hiking look. Could you please suggest any comfortable bag like this?

Hi there. I got tropos 34L. But I thought ts bit bigger to use for daily office use. Should I cancel my purchase of Osprey Daylite Daypack, Black 2016, 302837. Please help me ASAP.
Once again thanks for the review. Oh, this is exactly what I've been loking for, edc backpack that can store laptop but still have mesh/trampoline back system. Hpweverm it's an almost perfect EDC backpack for me. I hope Osprey make smaller version in 2020 (24 - 28 liter would be perfect). A 34 edc backpack is too much for me; I don't carry that much stuffs everyday, and 34 looks too intimidating for others when I go to a mall after work..lol (I have Manta 34 by the way, too big for me if just for an edc).
Could you possibly try Life Behind Bars - Peloton or Peloton Asphalt backpack? They're another good brand out there with barely any reviews and I'd love to get your opinion! 😊
Great review, George! I'm greatly interested in this bag for overnight work & travel. I have a couple questions: Did you feel as if the metal internal frame of the Tropos dug into your back at all when loaded? I have seen some reports of that being the case after extended, loaded use. Also, would any kind of jacket be able to fit into that front access pocket by chance? Thanks again for your work and great review!
Did you ever get an answer on this? I bought the Stratos and honestly so comfortable but looks a little ridiculous as a daily carry. Suppose to have the same frame.
After seeing this vid, got one today without try (no serious). Not enough in/ex pockets, even for a day pack (need more pouch), laptops may get scratched by the zip front of it, useless front compartment [0/10 for organization]. Kickstand feature not work until has the big stuffs inside. When compressing the bag, look weird when see from the side. No-scratch top pocket pushes into the main compartment without protection. No belt strap keeping (found in every new-gen backpack). Compare from experience with TNF, Timbuk2, Thule backpack, this one is probably the last option. The only good one that I buy is back panel, for the f 35c all time city.
while i can appreciate the function and improvements in the Tropos, the form is a tad too large in comparison for me being able to do the same activities with my old version of the Nebula 34. oh and, the original Nebula didn't need a kickstand. one little request, can you show us with the bags on to get a visual of how the bags hang? great review as usual. One!
Finally bag companies have stopped that "TSA compliant" clam-shell thingy. TSA is going to make you take out your laptop, bag companies have no say-so in what TSA does, but they still try to sell it as a feature and all it does is take up room in the bag.
I see you review bags very well, I hope you can review EIGER Products and distinguish them from other well-known brands, I'm sure your subscription will increase and your audience will also increase EIGER from INDONESIA ✌️
I bought this bag, returned it immediately. The quality of the fabric is cheap. The kickstand doesn't work at all. The hole at the top for your hydration system will get water on your laptop if it rains. The front pocket is unusable. Almost all zippers are hard to operate. Only one zipper on laptop compartment. No zipped or any organisation in the front compartment. No zipped pockets on the side for quick acces. The only positive is the back system. The rest, not even worth 50 euro/dollar.

Good Question.. Man...I'm kind of bias. I like the flexvent system better around.. This would better in hot weather. See ya
Check out the Osprey Radial
Okay January! It's on! See ya
Isn't the Nebula also 34 Liter capacity?
Yep.. Be Safe ✌🏾
Could you possibly try Life Behind Bars - Peloton or Peloton Asphalt backpack? They're another good brand out there with barely any reviews and I'd love to get your opinion! 😊
Thanks for the suggestion.. See ya ✌🏾
What are other osprey bags similar to troops but for EDC
The Nebula and the Quasar.. Check them out.. Be Safe ✌🏾
Great review, George! I'm greatly interested in this bag for overnight work & travel. I have a couple questions:
Did you feel as if the metal internal frame of the Tropos dug into your back at all when loaded? I have seen some reports of that being the case after extended, loaded use.
Also, would any kind of jacket be able to fit into that front access pocket by chance?
Thanks again for your work and great review!
Did you ever get an answer on this? I bought the Stratos and honestly so comfortable but looks a little ridiculous as a daily carry. Suppose to have the same frame.
I haven't overloaded this bag so I really couldn't tell you. When I wore it there was no problems. See ya
Could you review the new osprey radial
Damn.. Sorry it didn't work out for you.. Your the first I have hear a negative from this pack.. I hope you find something you like.
@@GeorgeDEFINED No, I see some in the comment with same reason.
how is this compared to the north face recon last gen backpack. not the new one, new sucks
osprey tropos vs northface router?
For me the router..
@@GeorgeDEFINED love to see a face-off on video
while i can appreciate the function and improvements in the Tropos, the form is a tad too large in comparison for me being able to do the same activities with my old version of the Nebula 34. oh and, the original Nebula didn't need a kickstand. one little request, can you show us with the bags on to get a visual of how the bags hang? great review as usual. One!
As does the Aer tech pack
Sure does..
Can thid fit a 17.3 inch laptop for gaming? Thanks!
I don't have a 17 inch labtop so I can say for sure.
thank you!
Thanks for watching Micheal.. See ya ✌🏾
It reminds me of my Jansport Equinox 34.
I can see that! Thanks for watching!
Finally bag companies have stopped that "TSA compliant" clam-shell thingy. TSA is going to make you take out your laptop, bag companies have no say-so in what TSA does, but they still try to sell it as a feature and all it does is take up room in the bag.
Hey David, Your right. I think Osprey is one of the few that have let that design go. Adapt or die out here in 2019. See ya
At 14:30 I think your bottle of water was almost gonna fall.
Appreciate your review, but your volume of music is too high. Seems like you are shouting over it.
Thanks for the feedback.. please check some of my newer videos to see if I have corrected this. See ya ✌🏾
Funny intro! Cool
Thanks for watching my foolishness.. See ya ✌🏾
Great videos
Thanks for watching.. See ya
Review EIGER MAGMA 01 PLEASE!!!
Thanks for the suggestion!
I see you review bags very well, I hope you can review EIGER Products and distinguish them from other well-known brands, I'm sure your subscription will increase and your audience will also increase
EIGER from INDONESIA ✌️
You’re awesome!
Osprey bags are great, but they always fall down on internal organisation (IMO)
I'm not sure why they removed the extra admin panel? A lot people have commented that they want to bring it back.. See ya David
Let me go check eBay to see if see a bunch of listings for a bunch of TNF backpacks listed under GDEF😎
You got jokes! I still have old trusty Recon.. Thanks for the comment. See ya
It is not a fair comparison because this pack beats them all by a HUGE margin for EDC
Hmmmm I hear you! See ya
good
Hey on the way to SB and the Keys’s
Hey Marrngtn, Good luck the snapper bite is awesome. I caught a lot and they were great. See ya
a bag that size can easily do a week of travel
Hey stfuerik, I think so too. My wife did 7 days out of a 35 liter pack. I did 7 days out of a 40L no problem. See ya
Next time please start from the bottom of the bag.
Okay no problem.. Be Safe
Damn man! Your first person that I have heard from that didn't like this pack.. But everything is not of everybody! I hope you find something you like. See ya
Their bags are so ugly now
Your into is too long and what’s up with the short videos that isn’t related to your topic.
Hey Joseph, In the begin of the video I mentioned cave men. " Ever since the evolution of man... " Hence the old GEICO commercials. I do these video for fun and it's something I enjoy. See ya Peace
Hey Joseph, if you don't like the intros bruh then don't watch. These videos are done out of a passion for giving insight to the common consumer. Just be happy that someone takes the time to provide details on everyday gear and products.
Josh Sobol I’ve watched gear videos straight to the point rather talking unrelated things. When I watch the first few minutes of the videos, I stopped watching it. But thanks for your feed bruh!

I only carried it from my house to the train and from the train a block to work for a week so I can't answer about long extended travel however I didn't have any pain my testing. And yes you can easily put like a North Face Venture jacket or a fleece shell in the front pocket. See ya
@@GeorgeDEFINED Thank you for taking the time to reply! I appreciate it!
See ya!
