Great game! NZer here. Our team has played both teams a few times. We usually have competitive games against Lithuania - I always enjoy seeing NZ play them. Serbia are a powerhouse - always tough.
p.s. it's so freakin beautiful to see how Serbian team played defense coordinated with offense! You can feel energy and chemistry between teammates! Beautiful! I wish them to reach Finals and to win it against USA.

We never manage to use Jokic properly in existing system. Simply serbian basketball philosophy is not to rely on one superstar but entire team should work as a unit. I am afraid with Jokic we wouldn't went too far.

I know that it should not be taken as a big deal but as I observe, the lights in the Mall of Asia is more better to view in television compare in Araneta Coliseum where its lights is more dim. It looks like it was played outside the Philippines. It would be better that Gilas played at MOA rather than in Araneta. Nonetheless, it was a great experience that FIBA basketball world cup was held in the Philippines.

Deep down all of us no Serbia is way stronger & better than Lithuania, Lithuania basically stand no chance against them. Lithuania at best is top5 team in Europe after Serbia Spain & France.
1st of all lithuania is never an underdog against Serbia and its more like 50/50 everytime, we are pretty much always rivals with Serbia and this time they were much better. 2nd of all we never look for an easier opponent and we give our best. In the end you have to beat everyone if you want that gold medal
