I'm always amazed at how you make complicated jobs look so easy, I wish I had your skill and confidence. Keep up the good work, love watching your videos.
Really interesting part Mr F, I’m planning to make mine the same way so great to see the process in action. I look forward to your next video, great work.
Hi Ms F after watching meter maid taking shape have taken the plunge and decided to make one a well .. my daughter brought me the book from uk and as you know it's for sweet pea but am sure I can Bodge the extra wheel set(famous last words) need another project to keep busy during lockdown as my beer stock has gone and your not allowed to buy alcohol at the moment.. interesting video as usual ..sure you will be steaming along before you know it now that you have the back broken on the job. Although the finicky finishing of bits and pieces take a lot of time.. keep safe Dug Hogarth
Hi dougie thanks for comments nice to hear from you and nice to know your having a go, as you know I am working from the book and adjusting everything for the 6 wheel version, just a point that may be helpful, you will probably want one sheet of the drawings, that is the General Arrangement Drawing for the Metre Maid, it cost me £5.00 for a A0 sheet, from Blackgates Engineering in Yorkshire, and it will give you all the information where the wheel positions are, and how to adjust everything around them, its a full size drawing and gives a accurate relationship where to put everything. good luck and keep me informed how you get on regards mr f
Hi Mr F thanks for the info on the GA drawings from blackgates .. will try to organize but may be difficult at the moment as the courier companies are only bringing in essential items because of the covid problem .. still will have plenty to carry on with the other bits and pieces which are not affected by the mods.. Thanks again and keep safe .. Dug Hogarth. (Whens the next video coming)
