Great job. This is the essence of what she did with The Band or at Gordon Lightfoot's home. Personally, I find Jaco inserts his ego into it, and that makes it harder to hear this essence of a very passionate song. It's the chord changes, the strum pattern and the inter play with the vocal rhythms that make this song great.
I totally agree. Sometimes her band did drown her out even though they were an incredibly amazing group of musicians. Jaco‘s work just makes it even more interesting. But when you pair it down you get to appreciate the mastery of her vocals the rhythms the tuning and her total creativity.
