I've one of this in UK they are lovely cars I drove lots of different makes, Mercedes, BMW, chevrollete, cadilac, Nissan but this Peugeot it's something else
I took delivery of my GT Line pearl white 3008 finally yesterday after a 4 month wait here in Australia and I love it I have had a few new cars over the years but the 3008 is definitely my favourite, its just so different and fun to drive!
I got the GT Line petrol 1.6 in Australia we only have the choice of that or the diesel 2LT, power wise its fine in the city and motorway, I have always had a diesel engine this is my first petrol in years just couldn't justify the extra money as I don't do a lot of Km these days, Still love the car!
@@matsteel2292 how are you liking the car after a year? Tempted on a 2018 runout diesel GT, can get for around 46-47k after some hard negotiations it seems
From South Africa here. I am planning to get this vehicle. However, many friends told me it's very expensive to maintain and get parts due to the unpopular brand. What's your take on it?
I am from Germany and just had this lovely 3008 GT-Line two weeks back in Red color. Love to drive and having lot of fun. The icockpit and the dashing look. Nothing can be compare with this SUV. I was just going to buy the BMW X4 but I give preference to this car. Not only Germans cars are good but French are also ready to compete.
No reviews tackle this subject at all, French cars are notorious for electronics issues apparently and with a new model you’d expect at least a mention on whether that was addressed or simply time will tell.
Can anybody ensure me about the diesel motor of 3008 model please. Been year and half i am driving peugeot 3008 1.5 lt gtline 130 hp 2019 model. Some people gave me some negative comments about French cars. Now i am very much worried.
Great! she doesn't say whether is better than CX-5 or Tiguan. I like the Pug but it feels abit more compact than both its competitors, or is that an optical illusion?
Darren Kelly that largely depends on personal opinion. From what I read the cx5 is a bit more sporty when it comes to handling. The Tiguan is pretty much a more standard suv and the price is considerably higher once you put similar optional gear. Personally I test drove this and ordered a 3008 gt line with most of the options. The cockpit feels like my brothers A6, if not better, and it’s much more affordable.
A stunning car inside and out - feel sorry for anyone who bought the old #peugeot3008 just at the end of its run , they must be kicking themselves! - #Goodreview #julietmcguire .
Peugeot stands far above any german brands in terms of reliability, just check the reliability index instead of carrying old wrong myth: www.reliabilityindex.com/manufacturer
What's to explain? This is not the 'old' Peugeot of 10 or 15 years ago (the bad years). The Peugeot 2008 compact SUV has been rated as one of the most problem free cars in the UK for example, and it shares many components (and some engines) with this larger 3008. Last year (2018) not a single Peugeot 2008 owner reported any problems in the annual Drive Power Owner Satisfaction survey in the UK. Running costs were also rated as one of the lowest in its class. Again, this is reflected in 3008.
What's up with the stupid little steering wheels on Peugeot cars? I went to a dealership a while back and it was impossible to get a decent and complete view of the instrument cluster. If the cars just had regular sized steering wheels the they would be great, the interiors are quite nice with a quality feel.
issue is the 60k km and 4 year service plan. really ? in this day and age? a car that doesnt have 90k or 100k minimum service plan does not get my interest. you are basically telling me after 3 years (20k per year)you have to pay for your own services? on french cars? hahaha joke
Keep an eye out for developments this year on the Service Plan mileage/time - improvements in this regard are on the way. 'French car' (as you call them, even though the 2 big French players are quite different) services and parts prices are not like 10 year ago. Check out Peugeot's out-of-service plan Labour rates on IOL motoring - you'll see they're among the best priced in the business. Then check how often Peugeot and Renault finish in the top 3 of various parts pricing categories in the annual Kinsey Parts Pricing survey in SA, and you'll start to get a fresh idea of how easy - and cheap - it is to own one of these out of Plan, these days. Happy motoring!
Yes only in your dream the Tiguan is just a big obsolete box that could have been released in the 90s compared to this superb 3008 who has been crowned european car of the Year 2017
Peugeot 3008 has won no less than 48 International Awards. Tiguan....? 3008 resale value (as with many other brands SUV's) is stronger than some other models in the range, and certainly within the market average for an SUV of this size and Spec. And remember, you're paying less for it from new, to begin with.
Thank you for listening to my suggestion. I hope this car will win ..fingers crossed. An absolute fan of what Peugeot have done
Got my 3008 GT line yesterday......awesome!!!
had mine since aug 2017 great car a real head turner nice to pull in a car park and see lots of people looking at it
What colour did you get?
I live in California. I wish this automobile was sold here in the 🇺🇸. Is beautiful inside and outside ❤️
It is a shame that #frenchcars aren't sold in the #USA

Great review. Bought one today in the UK. Every word of your review is spot on. Beautiful film footage and music also. Thanks

Those seats look stunning. Good job, Peugeot!
The Peugeot has way better equipment levels and a way better interior.
wait this was reviewed in south afirca? nice!
Of course it is worthy. And the last one wasn't that bad. It still has a good look.
Good review
You are much more comfortable in front of the camera
love this car, i would buy it, instead of vw or mazda
Great review from this girl. Thumbs up
“This girl”- thanks idiot.
try asking where is the cabin filter and air filter for the engine when you are considering the car at the showroom.
Well... Let's wait until Jan 2018 when comparison result is about to broadcast...
How long will this 3008 last? Someone bought this car for 2 months interior was rattling nonstop and other electronic issues

Got my Suzuki Vitara GL+ yesterday......awesome!!!!
Excellent review
I'm getting my 3008 gt line asap
I will recive it on march... how much timeeeeee!!!

I'm so glad there are no singing involved only facts
I do like the car, but I’m just worried my money will just go down the drain if it starts causing problems within 12 months
Onkar Singh Any car can have problems. I think that they offer warranty for the car for some years?

I´m 1.77 m tall, and drove already more time the new 3008. Absolute not Problems to read the Instrument. Even in the small Peugeot 208.
😍
Where's Chiro De Siena?
Great looking car but will take the 2 litre tiguan over this
