Excellent performance by both soloist and orchestra. The tempo is exactly right, not too fast neither too slow. Just perfect. The quality of sound is equally high. This is indeed the best interpretation I have heard of Scriabin's masterpiece.
Enjoyable performance with fine piano playing, fortunately cos we can hardly hear the backwardly-balanced orchestra, altho the ears soon adjust! This is a good way to hear the solo part in detail without it getting covered by those pesky, tiresome strings, winds, etc!! The finale is well paced, giving good contrast to the lyrical moments. It would have been nice to be there for the true sound balance.
