    I got the case, partly after watching the video. But, it doesn't fit. On the top, the IO shield part of the case blocks it from screwing it in. Are you not screwing the last 2-4 screws? Also, hits the fan bracket on the other side. You said you are not setting it all the way in. I had to revert to install on the front. To install it on the front also, I have to remove the disk caddy platform at the bottom. However, the arctic cables are very short. Front bracket has lips so it will only go one way. Either have to use RGB extension cable or not use RGB. Anyway lose all capacity for hard disk installation. If the case was a little taller or a little wider, it would have fit easily. I don't think this case should be advertised as supporting 420mm AIOs.

      @KleoYan  2 года назад +4

      Hello Mark, welcome to my channel. hmm.. the I/O Shield I did tuck those cables nicely and had no issues with it and if you are talking about the 420 AIO radiator screws that has total of 12 screws, they are all in without issues. Do you mean when you screw in the rad at the top, the screw holes alignment is out? As for Hard disk as I see it. you should be able to mount it unless your PSU is way beyond 180mm in lenght?

    • @marka5968
      @marka5968 2 года назад

      @@KleoYan When I was trying to put the rad on top, the IO shield section of the case would hit the radiator part and not allow me line up the last 4 screw holes. We must have slightly different case or AIO.

      @@KleoYan Regarding the hard disks, I had to remove the bottom tray that holds the hard disk mounts (as you did in the video) to install the AIO on front. One of the screws was under the foot and I did a bad job removing the adhesive to get the screw to remove the foot. On lancool 2, I use the hot swap feature and the ease of opening the lower tray to slide in a hard disk was so convenient.

      Hi C, welcome back. is your LF3 a 360? if it is, the additional rear fan which you've bought (Arctic P12 ARGB), the fan has a daisy chained cable. What you need to do is to unplug the Radiator last fan which is towards the rear, plug that to the rear fan, and on the rear fan, plug that to the radiator cable. hope that make sense.

    If you do that thermal test, I would actually also very much like to see the results of switching the rear exhaust to rear intake instead. As in, just flipping the 120mm fan. My guess is the top AIO fan furthest to the rear will pull in outside air from the back of the case anyway if the rear 120mm exhaust fan is removed. It might very well affect GPU temps too, but I am really unsure in which direction. I guess that also partly depends on the GPU orientation (horizontal vs vertical) and if its the one you have in the video, or one of the founder edition blower style GPUs.

    This case and Fractal Meshify 2 RGB, are NOT OK for the super bulky Arctic 420. Yes it can fit, but with a lot of compromise, like removing a fan from the fractal case, or touching the case fans in Lancool 3...even if you are ok whit that, you still have to mind the hight of the RAM and MB heatsink. There a lots of "if" and "or" so I give up from 420mm and went for Freezer 360mm - it is absolutely perfect for Ryzen 7950x, there is no thermaltroteling even on long hours multicore task (like rendering)....Also the radiator of 360 model is 400mm long and the about 450mm for the 420 model. Hi Mjood Zx, welcome to my channel. I have no idea will it fit or not and the site is down, I am not able to view the specs. Mayne you can measure the length of the Radiator. the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420 Radiator is having a lenght of 458mm. It fit just right, if you are not able to mount at the top. mount at the front, which I believe it can be done as I dont think the Corsair 420 H170i has a thick radiator like Arctic. which is at 38mm thick.

      @KleoYan So the i/o panel on the X570 is 38mm? The I/O panel on my B650 is 50mm (same height as the MOSFET heatsink). Maybe a change in the B650 series?
      A fail safe check is if you have a tall I/O panel like I have, and you consider the thickness of the AFii 420, the radiator is 38mm and the fans are 27mm, you would need a space of at least 65mm between the top of the case (if top mounted) to the I/O ports. My current case (Shadow Base 800) only has 60mm clearance here, so it fowls on the I/O panel.

      @@mildmethod Hi welcome back. I will avoid using the 420 LF2 if I know that the space is only at 60mm. infact the default height of the P14 or P14 ARGB is at 25mm thick + the radiator at 38mm, total thickness is at 63mm, unless you change to taller or thicker 140mm fans.

    I have got the setup but with an asus rog strix z790-e, just finished assembling last night and haven't gotten around to power it up for the first time since I'm not satisfied with the configuration.
    Unfortunately, mine cannot be mounted at the top since it didn't clear my trident z5 ram, the vrm cover, and of course the rear 140mm fan. A shame really, seeing that both of our motherboard are atx my ram sticks are not as tall as yours. I had to mount it at the front, and rearrange the front three case fans around.
    On top of that my arctic also came a bit bent along its overall length (probably due to shipping), I couldn't be bothered to return it and just had to finagle it more with screw alignments.

    Hello! I was wondering about 5:21 part, where you are screwing the AIO to the top. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but my screws simply won't align on the side closer to me. Not to mention there are no screws to be used there to begin with (manual says to use ones that came with the AIO, but again, there are no that seems to fit - and again, the holes don't align.)

      Hih osiris 4, welcome to my channel. alot have been asking me about this. yes the AIO does come with those screws.. sorry tha't I can't show you the top but rest assure the raidator mount holes align with the case top. You will need to do minor adjustments to get all 12 screws screw in. As what I did, I only anchor screws between the rad and the case holes, then go on with another till all 12 screws are in place first. then I fasten the screws like the way I fasten the thumb screws on a processor. doing it diagonally adjecent to all the rad screws. it takes sometime, eventually you will get them in. no big force required either.

      Hi dziobak87, welcome to my channel. all my fans PWM are daisy chained and each set of daisy chain to the respective FAN headers on the motherboard. As for the ARGB,
      1st I use this as a main argb controller with a remote www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BP1JZTND/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?smid=A1X11FOVGZ8LKJ&psc=1 . There are total of 8 ports and I have left one port to connect to another argb hub extension www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CRYLT8JK/ref=ewc_pr_img_2?smid=A3LTGIMDZWJTFW&psc=1 to fill up the rest of the fans. then on the extension arb hub, I connect the rest of the fans. Doing this way ensure that my ARGB will have sufficient power as both the main argb hub and the extension argb hub draws power from the sata, directly from my PSU.

      Yeah, i saw that. But even with a 120mm fan and the rubber things it doesn't fit.. guess i'll have to try again.
      Lian Li really shouldn't advertise this case as "fits 420mm" though.. it's the most cramped piece of shit i've ever worked on in my life.. and i've built hundreds of PCs. It needs at least 3-5cm more depth/length.

    Great video. How did you go about daisy chaining your fans? I have some fans not displaying aRGB properly (which I suspect is a power issue... Some options have those fans display colour and then they get "stuck" while the others continine to cycle) I have all the fans daisy chained to 1 header and the CPU cooler on its own, separate header.
    Am I correct in the assumption that you are operating with a relatively even daisy chain split, 5/6 per header?

    • @KleoYan
      @KleoYan  2 года назад +1

      Hi DSbroTV, welcome to my channel. the case itself has three argb cables. for the front fans I make use of two argb connector off from the case and the third cable I plug to this argb hub www.amazon.com/RGEEK-Splitter-10-Port-Extension-Perfect/dp/B08DRKR4B6/ref=sr_1_7_sspa?crid=11C9MOGAFHTM3&keywords=argb+hub&qid=1667510917&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1LjE5IiwicXNhIjoiNC44NCIsInFzcCI6IjQuNzQifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=argb+hub%2Caps%2C289&sr=8-7-spons&psc=1 from there, I plug the rest of the fans through it as there are 10 arb ports. the reason for this is, the argb cables from the case has a power limit, so I used that argb hub which is powered by a sata cable to extend the range, therefore I am able to control the argb effect via the case argb buttons.

      Hi Winterr Winter, welcome to my channel. If you have not notice. I use psu that have flat cables. If you are using PSU like the Corsair HX or RM. then it’s harder to fit, as the sleeving plus the big coil on the cable will have some obstructions.
