This scene is so heartbreaking because it shows that no matter how much she tries to hide it she is really broken 😢You can try to hide the pain but the cracks will begin to show. Excellent acting and they did a fantastic job showing trauma
This is why this drama is my Top 1 favourite kdrama ever, since the first day I've watched it, and it will never ever change because no other kdramas can overcome this one! 💜 Moon Kang-tae is such a lovely guy! No matter what happens, like in this scene which is one of my favourite, he will never ever leave Ko Mun-yeong alone because he understands what she is suffering through 💜💜💜💜💜 Btw, I think that Seo yae-ji deserves more attention (I mean in general, not just in the drama) because she's such a good actress!
i felt bad watching this scene ngl; i always held a grudge against mun-yeong being a dick toward other people despite knowing full well about her past and this scene changed it for me. it also felt cathartic because gang-tae finally found out how broken she was; that her douchebag behavior is just a façade; that she really needed him. fuckin amazing scene this is (i haven't finished the show yet so no spoiler-y comments pls)

No. Actually the mom mistreated her in her whole childhood to only to do what she thought it was "best" for her. She didn't wanted her to be "happy", or that other people cross paths with her. I think you should watch and take your own conclusions, but basically her mom is a psycho and she thought her daughter also had to be one.
