Considering the premise of the show (intelligent robots rebelling against their masters) I expected that giving intelligence to the centurions would have much more dire consequences for the humanoid Cylons. ☹
It's only "mumbo-jumbo" if one doesn't understand the underlying storyline from the start. There's purpose behind the BSG writing. Even what you commented is a part of the story showing that humans have been there before. Now, it's time we understand that. You can't comment on something with success if you've not watched it play out.
@@davidlewis5312 The main vilain has still many copies existing. The resurection ship is destroyed but the main Hub is still up there, it will be destroy in a few episodes if i remember well.
There was more than one Resurrection ship to begin with, the one that got destroyed was just at the time the one covering the Cylons chasing Galactica, which bought them some breathing room. But Cylons resurrected again on New Caprica just fine, implying they got a new ship in range. And the Resurrection Hub, the real lynchpin of the tech, was only destroyed well after this particular scene.
I simply cannot like BSG for anything other than some of the Battle scenes. All this God nonsense and actuallyhumansbutnothumansOrganicCylons... just... No. For all the writing strenghts this show has the entire prophecy and Human Cylons mumbojumbo is not one of them.

The Centurions were as much as slaves to the humanoid Cylons as they were back on the 12 colonies. Humanoid Cylons were unbelievable hypocrites.
It takes a single truth for a string of lies to fall apart
How life mimics fiction.
Six shoots One, Four, Five.
Sounds like a pain by numbers sketch.
When your friends says no 6:40
All that and NOT a single bloody bullet hole to be seen on any of the Cylon hardliners!

You know for a species that prides itself on not being like their creators, they sure do act like them don't they!
The Resurrection Ship had been destroyed and they could not be resurrected if they were to die if I remember right.
no it still works, considering they gunned down the main villain
