right I mean all of those retro games and consoles can be easily emulated so I was thinking the whole time to rent a shop and make that a business in 2024 not the best business move. I bet the funko pops sell pretty good and maybe figurines.
Nothing will ever beat real physical media and the nostalgia feeling you get. Love that your store ( and many other) retro game places are successful. Anyone remember Funcoland?
I imagine most people cannot afford to have a big ass house and have big rooms dedicated to showing off their psychical media collection in a fancy way......
Her store isn't successful. None of these stores are. They're like arcades now. They're all dying and going under. There isn't enough people that has a need for an arcade or physical copies of games anymore. Only a few will use it and they aren't enough to keep a business open.
@@ebogar42 Obviously some of the stores have to be somewhat successful. I imagine their success highly depends on how populated the area is where the store is located. Florida has over 22 million people and is the third most populated state
@@michaelangst6078 I doubt many of them are that successful, if at all. They might make a little money to get by, but I doubt the store is ever packed. Old games are cool to go back to for a few days, but most people aren't going to continue buying them all the time. @@ebogar42 I see plenty of older consoles and games being sold. A lot of people are buying them out of nostalgia. Physical games are also better. Stores like this is what we need more of. At least once a year I stop into the local GameStop only to be reminded of why I don’t go there anymore. I've been to your Store a few or more times back in 2021, the first time was probably in 2018 or 19, but 2021 was when I came more often. One of the first things I bought there was "X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse" for the SNES. Kind of surprised you guys have a RUclips channel. And with this video, you just earned a new subscriber! :D
I can only imagine how challenging and stressful running your own business is, but for some of us watching you are living the dream. Wish I could visit! :)
Awesome store! love it! I think some nice video ideas would be to cover your games and other stuff for a particular console. Like a video about your Gameboy inventory or your best of Wii Game section with some cool stuff you got in store. I would watch this all way. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
Love this so much. A temple to my childhood basically, its soul medicine Wish I was in the area so I could stop by, but I'm from Norway so I'll just be obsessing through the lense. My SNES I got in 1995'ish at 5 years old, and nintendo 64 i got in 1998 both still work somehow. I sometimes go back and play some super mario all stars on SNES, or some rounds of mario cart, goldeneye or pokemon stadium minigames with friends on n64. I really hope you are successful with your business, I want to see shops like yours thrive. Keep doing awesome things 😍 Joe from Norway
You guys are doing what I dream of doing. I've got a small time store on mercari, I've refurbished a turtles in time cabinet, and I modify old consoles and restore them. I'm super jealous! I wish you guys the best of luck!
This is amazing! Here in England high street store rents are so high and then even if you do pay to rent a store you get no foot traffic because our high streets are dead, so there is no scope for cool unique game stores lie this.
9:20 heck yeah xenogears collectors edition. If iwasnt a 20 hour drive i could see myself hanging out there and your arcade and probably buying that collectors edition, that is my favorite jrpg.
If you all think the store is rad, check out my arcade!

I saw Fester's Quest for the NES in the background. I remember that game being super difficult.
So glad to see cute independent stores like this going strong in the digital era, great collection.
Awesome store! I’d be a regular if I lived in the area. Great selection and vibes.
Good luck with your shop
I can only imagine how challenging and stressful running your own business is, but for some of us watching you are living the dream. Wish I could visit! :)
This place is super cool! Man when I was young I would have melted onto the floor to find a store like yours lol I love it.
Ive definitely gotta stop by when im in Florida. This place looks awesome!
Awesome store! love it! I think some nice video ideas would be to cover your games and other stuff for a particular console. Like a video about your Gameboy inventory or your best of Wii Game section with some cool stuff you got in store. I would watch this all way. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
Everything is layed out very well, Def not chaotic. I appreciate a neat organized store. Looks Great! If I'm ever in the area would definitely pop in.
Thank you!
Seeing Project Eden on that PS2 wall brought back so many cool memories. Thank you for that and DOPE shop!
Love this so much. A temple to my childhood basically, its soul medicine
Wish I was in the area so I could stop by, but I'm from Norway so I'll just be obsessing through the lense.
Keep doing awesome things 😍
Joe from Norway
Thanks Joe!!!
You have a working intellevision! Now that is cool. Had one when I was a kid (I'm pretty old hahahha). Awesome store!
algorithm brought me here, cant wait to see more videos !
What a great store! Thank you sharing. I'm in Michigan, but i have family in Florida. I'll definitely stop by someday!
You guys are doing what I dream of doing. I've got a small time store on mercari, I've refurbished a turtles in time cabinet, and I modify old consoles and restore them. I'm super jealous! I wish you guys the best of luck!
That starcraft boxset 😍haven't seen one in a long time
Your store is awesome
This is so dope. If I ever make the drive towards Florida I’ll be making a stop!
Everything is RAD! Thanks for the tour 💙
Wow what an awesome collection of games and stuff. This seems like a cool place to shop.
You should run some bright led lights around, brighten up your shop. You are living my dream owning a game shop.
This shop is awesome! Prices look super fair too! Coolest thing I saw was the CIB Zelda!
The umbrella corp logo rack is rad! What an awesome store, wish we had something like this over at the west side ha
