Then it became the song of her friendship with Maurane, another great belgian singer, with a beautiful contralto voice that complements Lara’s work perfectly. Lara and Maurane used to sing the song in most of the concerts of Lara in France or Belgium. When Maurane died suddenly in 2018, Lara was devastated. The guitarist is Jean-Felix Lalanne, one of the most famous WW classic guitarists and the boyfriend of Lara at that time.

I read that Lara considers this one of her top three performances. At the top is the version of "Je T'aime" where the audience sings to her, and the remaining one is that amazing duet with Johnny Hallyday, "Requiem pour un fou."
