If the german doc treated him 24 - 48 hours and his injury will be cured, the docs speciality is tissue and muscle repair not tendons. Oblique still need to be careful and warm up properly and hydrate regularly.
Coach....did you see any sign of an injury? I saw that he slowed down as well but that was when he knew that there was no point in trying to catch Kishane, but I didn';.t see any evidence of any discomfort.
Obviously. Why else would he go there? He can do a thorough checkup in Jamaica, he would only go that far if he NEEDED to. I know people wanted to be positive but it was obvious that was why he went there. That said, I hope the athletes do well, though things seem shakey for them. I see now though that next year World Champs I expect big things when all these injured folks are more fit.

I really do trust and hoping for 2 medals in the 100m female and I really do trust and praying that Jackson and Shelly is fit and that Tia get no get nervous on the big stage and box a surprise. I would not mind 1,2,3 going to be tough, but I have all confidence in my God for these althetes.

People are wont to counter that he was Bolt's and Blake's coach; but my response to that is always: look at the scores --probably over 100 -- of athletes he has worked with over probably 50 years. Bolt achieved despite Mills; and Blake was just a very hard worker who had been on a trajectory that was initiated by a better coach from his St.Jago days! And, had Blake not switched to Mills or gone to a better coach, he might have been WR holder for both 100 and 200! Before Bolt, Raymond Stewart provided the best outcome; and the young man could never finish better than 4th! That's why I had predicted no better than 3rd for Oblique at these Olympics. With this piece of news, all I can say is: here we go again! When will our promising athletes stop exposing themselves to destruction at this man's camp? SMH!
This is food for thought when you really think about it. Apart from Bolt and Blake, how many outstanding athletes have really come from that camp compared to amount produced by MVP? Notwithstanding this, however, I hope Oblique will be one of those few who goes on to achieve success.
