  • Recorded on Sunday, June 16, 2024, on the (6) train City Hall loop.
This is my first time riding/seeing the (6) Train abandoned City Hall Station/City Hall Loop in person!
If you like seeing historic things, you should try riding the (6) train City Hall Loop! The City Hall Station was opened in the early 1900s, but it was closed/abandoned in 1945, and it is used today for the (6) train to turn around after the last stop at Brooklyn Bridge Station.
You can still experience it today, and if you want to, you must take a Manhattan/Brooklyn Bridge/Downtown bound (6) train, and stay onboard the train after the last stop at Brooklyn Bridge. DO NOT exit the train at the last stop, or else you won't be able to experience the city hall loop! The train operator will announce that it's the last stop, but don't get off! You will still end up at the same Brooklyn Bridge Station after the loop anyways, just on a different platform, on the other side of the station, and then it becomes an Uptown/Bronx/Pelham Bay Park bound (6) train after that. And the City Hall Loop doesn't even take too long, it takes only a few minutes.
This is also my first time recording an R62A train ride!
