Sir I have a quick question, First time trying to buy a gun for self-defense and to give it to my future wife. I'm interested in Fn Baby Browning but where can I get that and how much is it usually? Thanks for your informative videos.
Probably not the best choice. The Baby Brownings have become a collector item. They have not been imported since 1968 and are becoming pretty expensive. And 25acp is not really any better for a defense round than 22LR. Today you can get guns in much more effective calibers that are not that much bigger than the old 25s. If you really want one, you can always find a few for sale on gunbroker.com
@@1957Shep thank u sir! Is it hard to get FFL tho? I found one seller who got baby browning but the requirement stated "FFL required" and not sure if that's applicable to CA residents as well
@@dcss2131 You don`t have to have an FFL yourself, a gun bought online just has to be shipped to an FFL holder. Most gun shops (FFL holders) will accept the transfer for a small fee. The way it works is that you buy the gun and have it shipped to your local gun shop/FFL holder. Then you go to the gun shop and do the paperwork that transfers the gun to you. You need to arrange for your local FFL to do this ahead of time. As he will have to send a copy of his FFL to the seller before the gun can be shipped. Your local gun shop can tell you about local laws. As I understand it, CA has some really nutty laws. When you bid on a gun on an online auction keep in mind that your bid is NOT the final price. You will have to pay shipping costs and pay your local gun shop to accept shipment and do the transfer. So you need to take those costs into account before you place your bid. If you look around on the gunbroker.com site you will find instructions for how all of this works.
Sights like that were common on older pocket pistols. Back then even service pistols had pretty small sights, not this small, but pretty small by todays standards of service pistols.
damn nice, browning quality is hard to beat!
Thanks
I can't say I've ever seen one in person before . Thanks for sharing this .
Thanks for watching
Thanks shep! Always appreciate your videos and insight on your guns, have a great day!
Thanks for taking time to watch.
it is a sporty 380 classic. Better than many of the small 380 pocket pistols today.
Many of the little 380s they make today are really too small.
Nice! Very sharp
Sure is!

The perfect civilian handgun
That might be pushing it a little, but it is a good gun.
Offen used in WW2 here in Denmark.
FN made lots of before and after the war.
@@1957Shep the police here got it after the war
Nice!! 😎☕👍
Thanks for the visit

Those are the smallest sights I've ever seen. Why did they even bother? It looked surprisingly snappy to shoot.

Very nice
Thanks
Trade you my LCP II for it. It’s quite light and concealable but hard to shoot accurately.. too small and balances like a turd.
No trade. :-)
A favorite of the Waffen SS in WW2
FN made a lot of guns while under German occupation.
I'll stay with my ppks😊
The Walther is a quality pistol.
A Model 1910 in .380 started World War One.
Thanks
I wish that gun would have behaved itself.
