- What a race weekend! - Ups, downs and not sure I can cope with the pressure! This is way harder emotionally than i thought - hats off to ANYONE who's got themselves onto a grid and given it a shot.

From having to be bullied into getting a race license to qualifying P1 to legit battles for position I'll say Chris is extremely impressive. Good work to the whole crew 👍

I feel this man's pain, but think he's doing really well. Many years ago I had my first race at Cadwell in the pouring rain with poor viz, rivers running down the track and while riding a very poorly prepared and extremely peaky 250 Yamaha on TT100 tires. It went sideways every time I opened the throttle and spent most of its time trying to throw me off. Eventually my humiliation was complete.
If I had my time again I'd let my ego go and with humility I'd work hard to learn everything I could, riding for the pure joy of the opportunity to do it. Cadwell spat me out at my first meeting in the pouring rain and it was emotionally crushing. But now I think, so what? That humiliation means nothing - Cadwell can do that to anybody. Cadwell in heavy rain at your first race meeting is a great teacher. It asks you the bluntest questions about what you're doing and whether you're serious about it. As a youngster I couldnt answer them. I expect that Baron von Grumble will find answers as long as he doesn't beat himself up about it.
But, he's not that handsome.

The Paddocks are an amazing place. As long as you don't bother someone who is clearly in a rush, everybody in every paddock I've been in has just been great to talk to, look over the shoulder of, etc. Real people.

Fair play to you. Well done at Cadwell, my first time last year on gsxr 750 and yeah day 2 i crashed!! Not easy track to learn and you did Mega. Well done. Look forward to the next round.

That was amazing to watch. Can only imagine how it must feel. I was sitting here feeling my arm turning into concrete, my jaw etc. clenching as you rolled off the throttle and turned-in... Great recovery and overall result.

Good going there Baron! fully kitted race truck and garage with team of mechanics and a TT winner sorting your suspension plus you get a hotel! How club racing has changed for a novice.
My very first race meeting was at Cadwell back in 2007 with New Era MCC. I was on pole for my last race of the weekend as well!!! But I suffered the same problem you have "Mass centralisation by Greggs" 🍕🍔🍰

Somehow I knew the crash would be out of P1. I hate that feeling. I found playing a movie on my phone something I had seen a billion times . Would help me sleep on Saturday night. I close my eyes and listen to it. It would keep my mind from racing then boom I'd be asleep.

Cadwell Park is the best bike circuit in the UK, if not one of the best in the world! I can't believe you've not been there before! Cheap trackdays too.

Baron you rock. I remember running across one of your videos where you trashed a bike in the mud and wondered if you were completely crazy. I stayed true to your videos and eventually realized that you are someone I admire. Your riding skills have improved so much and your videos are more than just average bullshit.
