Hi, great detailed review! The noise floor is quite discernible when listening to your recordings through my studio monitors or in-ear monitors. How would you comment on the noise floor and sensitivity?
Im actually thinking about buying this, i have lost my mic that i have had for almost +7years (trust emita, was really good quality for the cheap price it was 7years ago i think)
i bought this about a year ago, for about 60 euro-bucks! i found the buttons on the back very confusing, and as a tall person, the delivered-with-stand is toooo low! i have it on a 30 euro boom arm, and works decent!
Hello. How do I distinguish the old one from the new one? Both are called the same, both look the same, the same features. I have ordered one and now I am curious was it an old one alor a new one. Can You at least write the producers symbol for each of those?
I'm pretty sure the old is just called the Mdrill One, while the new is the Mdrill One Pro. I personally own the latter and it sounds just like the "new" mic that he talks about in this video
So my mic has arrived. I am new to this kind but I have noticed that levels are very low comparing to other microphones like 5 usd Jack one or SR-ULM10 clip-on. When I test it on Windows testing it gives me few percent with 100% level while the clip-on gets 100% while around 30%level set. And I have to speak very close to it. Like 20cm. Is that normal? I mean the sound is very nice but all microphones of that type are like it or maybe this one is broken?
im on MAC ... i havve repeatedly installed updated OS to BIG SUR and backtracked to MOJAVE.. but i cant to read the mic when i plug in the USB to the MACBOOK AIR 2017... any idea why?
From what you showed in this video it seems you are talking about the Mdrill One and Mdrill One PRO, those are different products, but since you never talked about the specifications of both, we can't be 100% sure, also, you should have talked about the specs, like sample rate and bit depth, for example, and should also have mentioned the part number of both units so people can verify if they are buying the right thing, should they decide to do so. Not only that, everybody knows youtube is not known for it's audio/video quality, you should have recorded, using both microphones simultaneously, a sample clip and shared the original file so people can get a better idea of the differences.
Comparing both, I’m not sure which one is best. The old one seems to have less bass but sound clearer... I’m confuse now... There is other option close to that price range... like the blue snowball, Blue Yeti, the hyperX QuadCast or Samson g-track... I feel that it’s pretty tricky to compare microphone since there optimal usage conditions aren’t the same...
cant turn it off? u need to take the cord out? thats a minus for me if thats the case here? I love the mic, but i like to turn it off and not only mute it when my pc is not powered..the mic still is powered. may i add the green light for mic is to much. it mess with the cam in a dimm room.
@@dramajava2364 mdrill One Pro if u must have a usb mic.. I prefer them not. However Mdrill bad lots better than hyper X. I did return hyper x and I still have Mdrill

Isn’t the old one just called Mdrill One? And the new Mdrill One Pro?
If you make side-by-side comparisons, let people hear it side-by-side. I can't compare it with so much talking in between

That microphone sounds so good!! Awesome video as always!!
Hi bro. Compared to Hyperx Quadcast, which one is better in sound quality and noise cancellation?

Format your Mac and start again. Probably a driver issue with Mac OS
Thanks alot for this!
Help me decide
Thronmax Mdrill One Pro or BOYA BY-M1000

All this does is Increase sales for the rode wireless mic you are using, as the Thronmax both sound awful.
It's a terrible mic do not buy it. Noise floor is very noticeable!
