I saw Jaci in concert a couple of years ago and she was a class act. After the concert, she did a meet and greet and was so kind. I have a lot of respect for her.
I adore Jaci and her transparency regarding the high’s and low’s of her career and life. I’m a bit astounded by the outcome of her first feature film, though. Growing up within a Hispanic community, I got to know Jaci’s music through mainstream radio, family parties (yeah, there were folklore versions of her C-Pop tracks) and actually had the privilege of attending one of her concerts in Houston! I can honestly say, despite the content of Chasing Papi/Papi Chulo, Jaci kept her role as tasteful as possible without compromising her Christian morality. (I mean, the entire cast was relevant for their beautiful physical appearances....go figure there would be some scenes that were deemed “too steamy” for the faint of heart.) I can understand the industry cancelling some of the events pertaining to her music, but I don’t know why the Hollywood scene didn’t give her a shot at other types of feature films. Either way, the early 2000’s were definitely a different time than today and it’s unfortunate that we didn’t get to see Jaci continue to demonstrate her acting potential in upcoming Hollywood films. However, I am happy that she has grown as a woman of faith from these happenings and continues to inspire others through actions and music! ¡MIL GRACIAS, JACI!
Yes trust is hardest thing to do and when you realize like myself. I didn’t trust God so had a hard time trusting people and my self. This year is so eye opting for me . TFS
i expect more and better from cbn .....using autoscript closed caption is fine for an editors draft....but not for an end profuct this junk makes closed cation worthless.....this is a well presented interview .....it deserves ...as does the veiwer.....better
