Roger, I'm the owner/builder of the boat. The motor is a 3kW BLDC motor from Golden Motor (www.goldenmotor.com). Since the video was made it has been replaced by a 5kW motor from Lynch Motors in the UK (lynchmotors.co.uk/pdfs/LEM%20Datasheet%20Marlin%20v5.pdf). The 3kW motor was powerful enough but very noisy.
