Finger in the drainage hole...brilliant😊
Its just what works when you aren't prepared hahahaha
Great update! Love to see all the propagation updates. Your plants are looking great!
Thanks so much!
.Great video ! 🌿😊🌿 Plants are the best, specially the people behind them 🌿🤩🌿 You got a new sub from Denmark 🌿😊🇩🇰😊.
Thanks Patrick and welcome to the channel!!!
I got my Baltic able from Lowe's here in the States. I have it Climbing up the wall(with Command wire holders/clips)and it's such a beautiful underrated plant!
I 💚all the roots and new sprouts…great progress🪴thanks for sharing! I am still planning on a plank plant soon👍did you see that cebu blue techplant video? Holy moly!
Yes I did. I messaged him right after seeing the video! We are youtube friends 🤣
That's a nice technique Jeff thanks I make a mess an never even though about it 😆 🤣
Thanks for watching Amanda!
You are an inspiration!
Awww...thanks so much! (Made me 😊)
I’ve never tried propagating with perlite. I’m going to try soon.
It is pretty awesome
Another great video...lots of helpful information.
Glad you enjoyed it
I got to propagate more in perlite thanks to you. Great results ! Thank you for advice ☺️
Still propagate in water my philodendrons as they are little bit to big for my propagation boxes. Love to watch your videos 😊
I love your Decursiva. I have 2 of them but neither one is splitting leaves yet 🙁
Thanks is so awesome to hear!
Cutting the roots is one step to make bonsai plants. And it's a great way to keep plant from getting to large.
Thanks Shirley. It is pretty amazing to see how resilient plants really are.
Nice job they look really good and doing well, really enjoy the videos you put out thank you they are very helpful.
Glad you like them! Thanks
Really 'Njoyed' 😜 this video, I love propagating. I have had zero luck with a Birkin.
Loved the little joke!!! What is wrong with your birkin?
@@EverythingPlants I just cannot get it to propagate. No clue why. Tried water and moss. It will start a new leaf, but no roots! 😒
@4:55 I found a Full 6-in pot of Epipremnum Baltic blue, a Geogenanthus Ciliatus, and Monstera Peru "Galaxy" at Lowe's in Ottawa all labeled from Costa Farm. These plants may be on it's way your province soon, Jeff. Cheers!
Apparently Rona and Lowes had some and they flew off the shelves haha 🤣
A great video full of plenty of tips Jeff, I can’t wait till spring. Your enthusiasm is very contagious 👏👍
Thanks Margaret. Where are you from? It's spring here in Canada.
@@EverythingPlants in Bathurst ... Central West NSW Australia. I look out for your videos ( subscribed ) , their just so full of helpful advice. I’m building up my indoor collection. My main plants are my succulents which I love. But the indoors are moving in lol 😂
Really enjoyed this chop and prop vieo. I cut my Cutlass Agg and rooted that cutting and all wentwell. Your mention made me go look at mymother plant and EVERY stem is nwpushing out new growth. crazy, a good thing to know.
That is so awesome Chris!!!
I really enjoyed all the updates today. So great to see progress in these plants. Thanks so much.
Thanks for watching Lisa!!!
My Baltic is growing with a bamboo pole. It took a short bit but it's finally getting new leaves!! So excited!! 🌿🌱💚
That is awesome!
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Soon you could start a little plant shop from your basement 😜
Pretty much 🤣 It is growing really fast.
S. Llano Carti Road's are such a pain to root so it's not you! I've heard this from many people and I have tried all methods with four separate cuttings and finally gave up. Good luck with yours though😁
Good to know! Thanks so much..I was beginning to wonder lol
Lots of good information in this video. Thanks for being so detailed. That’s why I love your videos. No, you’re not the only one that covers the pot hole with your finger when watering. I do it too and thought I was the only one. That’s funny. 💚🌿🪴🌱💚
I guess we are all pretty much the same hahaha
💚💚
Thanks!
Enjoy your videos. Could you tell me please what type of perlite you use in the prop box? Thank you
The brand is called Dutch treat perlite
I have 2 Monstera stems with 1 leaf each and 1 Pink Princess or similar that all have roots growing like crazy & healthy in the water reservoir, plenty of nodes, but absolutely no growth. I can't see any growth points, so is it true that there are a very limited amount of growth points per node?? Seems weird they won't grow at all?!
- Wow, where did you get that Raph. decursiva?? She's a beauty & is on my wish list!
I have heard of limited growth points or growing eyes for aroids, but unfortunately I don't have enough information to comfortably give you advice. I would say if it has roots pot it up in soil or whatever you are growing it in and give it time.
@@EverythingPlants Thanks for your time.
I’m excited about propagating but when is it better to perlite or water propagate. Do you prefer some plants over others? Micans Pothos String of Hearts, Hoyas?. What do you prefer with these basic plants?
Would love to know what the bags hanging on those cuttings are? Are they some sort of regular pest control measures?
Looool never mind. You literally mentioned what they are 30 seconds after where I paused the video to post the question 😂 still thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching Double Zhang!
Hi Jeff! As always, great video! I have a question for you, I recently hacked up my marble queen pothos and all the new growth came out with black patches. Similarly to that pothos cutting you pulled out during your video where the new growth was turning black. Do you have any advice what I should do or why it’s like that? Thanks!
I'm not entirely sure, but I have this happening on one of my smaller pothos upstairs and at one time I thought it may have been a pest issue, but now I think I let it get too dry while it was pushing out new growth.
How successful are you with aglaonema propagation in perlite?
I used the perlite prop box method but I get so much algae.
It's probably getting too much light..nothing direct. Its not going to harm the plant, but you could always start with fresh stuff and place in a different spot. I had this happen with a smaller pot (clear) really close to a grow light downstairs.
