Sorry if this is like a rant or something but I might talk about the backing tracks. For one, like in ZZ Top's case, Eliminator had drum machines. Frank Beard can still keep up, but even in this case, you might need that extra backup. Since no one can play the synth tracks physically for LEGS, they need it in the back (I personally think the single version is easier to play cause they don't need to add all the flourishes and whatnot). I think it can aid the experience but there's a line between experience and atmosphere; the last half is pure abuse of it. When used as a crutch, you are just a husk.
