To improve the farm you can also add like 12 (or less) snowy owls (owl pellets speed up the crafting and also improve the rarity of the crystals) and feed the gachas plant species y traps (there is a myth that gachas produces faster if fed y traps)

Ok so here's my take about this. I built this and here is my humble opinion. Does it actually work? Yes! As a matter of fact it works so well I put a vault in the middle. My only complaint...build as a 4x4 and use 4 stairs/ramps instead of 3. Its difficult getting the gachas to line up, not enough room for both to fit at the top. I ranked in almost 50 element in very little time.

What an amazing amount of tek foundations you have used. The mind boggles at the cost in materials for so many tek units. I have a question about feeding these bad boys. You mentioned Y species, but I've had Gachas and they require a constant supply of edibles, so how did you set THAT part up?
Building this today to farm cheap gear for cave runs. Did they nerf them mine are not dropping many glowing crystals these days. But I am using owl poop and stone. I have a ton of owls around them so they pick up the poop then when I have enough I load full of stone
Have you tried this stacking the entire build on itself for a second structure and set of gachas i did this so i have eight sets of gachas the second level is 18 door frames high to space them out and some of my gachas are selectively happy some pair that are sitting together have one happy and one unhappy and some pairs are happy and others are not on both floors.

I've been using vertical cables, seem to get a lot of rare crystals compared to seeds. Seeds seem to give a lot more resources crystals. Thanks for the info boys
Replicated it and it works like a charm...but having to haul food to fill them all isn’t nearly as effective as placing pairs around the base next to stone When you log in they will auto harvest and start producing instantly along with keeping that small food pool topped off at all time It’s a great way to collect over time passively
I know you posted this a year ago but i just did the math. 57 foundations 48 walls 144 stairs 192 railings Minimum of 16 ceilings. Hope this helps you in the future lol
Curious if gachas are smller on PC. Built this and there is no way to get two gatchas on the 2×3 space at the top. Am I missing something?? I have widened my stairs to 4 across and the platform to 2×4. Hoping I get the same affect because I DO NOT want to rebuild this thing any time soon.
The foundations or pillers in the ceilings at the bottom should work as the foundation for the stairs. You must not have something clipped in correctly

You could build a base around this. Just make the building height 16 high and it would just look like a giant box. And definitely not doing something this big for pvp.
I built this by myself today took about 3hrs to make i did the same thing except the ramps i covered it with an extra set of ramps and used them as roofs on all 4 sides and railings as the walls so all 4 sides are completely covered took about 3hrs
you can’t I don’t think because the gachas have to be 12 foundations apart meaning you’d have to go up 12 which most likely would be out of render distance
because they need to have the horizontal distance from each other and if you don't make it at least that high, you can't build a ramp that lets all these crystals roll into one spot. You can make it without any height but then you have to run to each of the gacha pairs to collect the crystals basically.
In order to have multiple breed pairs that function they need to be 12 foundy lengths apart otherwise they will be un happy and won’t produce anything. So In other words it’s just a in game mechanic so u can’t have a shit ton of gachas side by side just farming crystals.
If my count is correct and I believe it is you need 64 foundations (do the math difference if you have to sub ceilings . Pillars will vary depending on your ground. 48 walls 132 stairs 176 railings 120 ceiling tiles. Pretty sure my math is right but you may have to test in single player creative mode. You might have to add 4 foundations because I think after the 12 he added an extra on the end for the upper ceiling maybe because of snap point not sure. So it could be 68 foundations
I ve a idea 💡 U can build a Gacha Tower with multiple elevator Tracks at different heights so they ve 14 foundations between and poop all in the Same pipe all way down. But i think u will be limited to 4 pairs of gachas. Advantage of this u can load them on ground and Lift them easy
For those of us on official servers, abuse of this type of structure will get you wiped by a dev because it can create a massive amount of lag and they consider it griefing.
Seen gacha towers so big you can't even render 20% of the base in at any given time. The gachas need to be in close proximity to a player to produce. Lag fest the server and they was wiped within a week. I am pretty sure they didn't take it down cause ded boxes was all over floating in the air.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean, but gachas eat whatever is in their inventory whenever their food drops by .5, it might take a couple of "eats" before they drop a crystal, depending on what they are eating @StiggyPlays
No, gacha will drop about 1 crystal all 10-15min, when they are out of food. They don't drop crystal too when you are not nearby.. So make sure to feed them all the time.. Seeds works best!

Nice build, I can see that working nicely on your own server but if you play official your just gonna run into issues with people stealing your crystals, best off with an indoor build for official server but otherwise nice work, I've also seen Forgotenlore's setup its pretty sick.

massive waste of materials the ground is free and an enforcer for a wheelbarrow is much faster ! besides who wants to waste all that element carrying stone to gachas up all those steps but ill will admit it looks pretty !
Gacha towers are the bane of PvE. takes up space, cause GPU lag...and the folks that have them...never seem to actually be on. When they DO use their towers...it's usually less than a few hours.

You can build this over a base with a hole in the center using ramps leading down a glass chute into a main depository.
I wonder if you put the gachas on top of one another, on another floor above its mate. Would the crystals be able to roll down a one wide staircase?

seeds are the easier product to come by its really anything but seeds are easier 2 get and weight the least

Metal ramps don’t work for this so don’t waste time getting metal ramps for this

8 pairs on each level was relatively easy with a nest trick for over laping tiles in a diagonal method.
Dont the gatchas get sad when they are next to eachother
Only the same gender. 2 males will be sad, 2 females will be sad but a Male and female wont be sad and instead will get mate boosted

With owls you'll get 130 dust per crystal on average.
This is a good concept but I think a tower would be better. Most can't fit in there base this is more of a pve build.

Prolly as big as my solo base in Ragnarok. So far, it's 47 walls high, 26 wide and 29 long. I love making big bases with unused spaces lol. 😎👍
