hey man, thanks a bunch, I just got my own ts8000 with a 16oz coleman propane cylinder, first torch I've ever had. really puts me at ease knowing I can use the coleman cylinder with the ts8000 so I know that once I thread the torch head on nothing will blow up on me haha.
Funny that you called it "Benzomatic"; I swear that years ago, it actually was Benzomatic. But now, the universe claims that it's always been Bernzomatic (dang ol' Mandella Effect!).
I needed to woodburn just a bit today for the 1st time in probably 2 years. I had forgotten everything I ever knew about this torch! Thank you so, so much for helping me by creating this video. I also think this baby needs to be thoroughly cleaned as well, and I found yet another video on that!! Awesome! Thank you again!!!❤
Nice, thank you for making this video. I just bought the exact same one. I've never used one before and I didn't feel like reading the tiny instructions manual that came with it, haha.
What an interesting situation I am in. I got this tool for $40 on Amazon and it was a prime item so I got in two days. All the Map Gas Pro and propane cylinders were not prime items. I really wanted to use it so I went to Lowes and I found the same Map Gas Pro cylinder I found on amazon for $4 cheaper and of course I got it the same day. I would definitely recommend to anyone buying this to check your local Lowes plumbing area for Map Gas Pro since no one wants to wait a week to use this badass torch. Hell, you might be enticed to pay those extra $8 Lowes charges to use it the day you bought it.
HILARIOUS! I never thought of using it to fight of a bear, ha ha!! I got the Bernzomatic with the hose and the holster for the tank. Also, yellow can of MAPP gas. That thing is like the flame under the space shuttle.
Excellent demo and sex education. I'm a first time user of a torch, and the instructions that came with the TS8000 were confusing. Not a good idea to be confused when using a flame thrower.
@@fr8cture lol I went to go pick up an extra propane bottle just in case and all of the torches were gooone hahahahaha, when I bought mine a worker was restocking them
Just bought one today. Is it normal for it to not light every time you squeeze the trigger? Just wanted to know others experience with it. Out of maybe ten times, 3 of those it want light. Just wondering.
Hi I have a Very important question for you. I have three of the Bernzomatics and two of them are old and one is fairly new. They were given to me. I haven't used them except maybe once. Now I tried connecting the propane bottle to each one and I hear a very slight hissing if I put my ear right on it even with it shut completely off and tight. To my thinking I feel I shouldn"t hear anything leaking period . The bottles are on tight and the Bernzomatics are on tight with nothing cross threaded anywhere and I haven't lit them since. What are your feelings on this and do you hear anything coming from yours with it bottled up and completely shut off.
I found the problem, the tank had a small burr on the threads and wouldn't allow any of the torches to be screwed down all the way to seal it. I have since then used the torch with no problems. Thanks Steve @@SteveSherron
Steve Sherron Whoa, now I hear Tom Hanks! I bought that torch based on this video BTW, so thanks again. This one gets hotter than my TS3000 which I don't even understand why I bought when this one exists. Maybe it didn't exist 15 years ago? Anyway, it gets hot enough to melt the tubes on a copper radiator that Dodge no longer produces.
So I just got me one of these TS8000 and did my first Chicken Legs Sous Vide and seared it with the TS8000 and tasted super yummy. The question I have, do I need to dismantle the unit from the Gas Tank or is it safe just to leave it on? I've never used anything like this and so I am totally ignorant of the facts, please let me know which is safe, thnx.
When you see a bear you grab your Bernzomatic and burn the woods down thousands of acres will be lost and the bear will come back when all grows back. The End.
The TS8000 works with either MAP/Pro or regular propane. MAP/Pro burns about 150 degrees hotter (2,150 vs 1,900 degrees F.) but costs almost four times as much as propane ($11 vs $4). True MAPP gas is no longer made.
There's a blockage in the injector fracture point or pipe causing vitiantion. Lack of oxygen usually causes a floppy yellow flame. There should be an outer blue cone and an inner blue cone. The inner tip is the hottest part of the flame.
Can you get a holster for it so you can wear it like a pistol? I want to go grocery shopping wearing it. Forget "RING" mount that on your front door. HA!

the bear will end up catching fire dying on top of you end up trapped under him buring as well lol
It's BeRnzomatic
Benzomatic
Thanks for this demo. Exactly what I needed as a first timer. Very funny camping example 🤣
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you sir🎉. Just got one today's for my stuck shaft uJoint bolt. First time for me.

Exactly! Just got back frome home depot and they're tiny. Lol.
Great video and great demonstration
Thank you!
I'm actually using a MAPP tank with this head to Mend two Steel plates.
Good vid, but cross-threaded the tank to the torch at 2:50.
lmao "its securely on there now" next shot it is reattatched.
Im rockin this torch with a hose extension n the lil holster for the tank.

If I need it that same day, I'll pay extra
Thanks, dude!
I just bought the whole kit from Home Depot today, and I was looking to set it up. This video made it easy to use.
Glad I could help!
Right! Screwing the torch on to the bottle is so difficult to figure out!
I saw no difference in the flames of the two torches. Was I supposed to use my imagination?
А я увидел. На ТS8000 кучнее.

Is it just me, or does my man look like a young Jon Voight?!
I'll take it.
🔥 I use this torch in my videos! It's powerful!
I don't see it mentioned here but this is AMAZING for dabs if you live where it is legal.
Excellent demo on "how to crossthread"
Excellent instruction. I followed your steps and it worked just as described. Thanks.
Glad to help.
what camera did u use to film this video nice quality.
I'd like to know what camera this was as well...
SOLD!!!! I was not going to buy, but I am now after seeing your video.... Benzo should pay you a little for me buying.
Very cool, thanks!
Great video. Thanks, I couldn't figure it out with the included instructions but your vid was very helpful.
Right! Screwing it on the tank is so difficult!
Picked one up for the 4th of July 🦅🇺🇲🦅🇺🇲🦅🇺🇲 #RECALL GAVIN NEWSOM!!!!
funny I just picked one up today aswell. lol

I bought 1 but couldn't figure out how it works thanks
Thanks for showing you are awesome .
So nice of you
Thought that was just for mapp gas
Good video showing me just what I wanted to know. Thanks.
Lol. I need one of these. I have the one that you need the striker for and it's super annoying to use.
will it work with the little green one
i have not use for this at all but I want one now just because it is sooooo cool.
You want it because it's a manly way to start a fire.

Mine generally lights every time.
But what if it's "Smoky the Bear"?
T hanks...I couldn't make mi n e work! You solved my problem!!😅🤣😂🤣😂

Do not use if you hear any hissing. Could be dangerous.

How long did it last
Is this Propane Tank exact same as the Coleman or do they have different types of heads? Will the torch fit the Coleman or just the Bernzomatic Tank?
Same exact tank as Coleman.
No adjustment for a cone flame!
I was like …wtf
That’s how it’s done ~thx
I want this with a long hose attached.
How much will it cost and where can I get one with a bigger tank?
Thanks
You can get an extension hose at home Depot
Are you allowed use that green propane or should I be more propane and the blue propane tank
Not really sure what you mean by are you allowed to use the green propane cannister?
@@SteveSherron pretty sure dude meant the Coleman tanks but idk
I need one of these for my new coffee maker
I have fought many bears with mine. I go out just looking for a fight
Call me next time, we'll go kick some Grizzly @ss
I'm sure you have heard this, but dude - you sound so much like Kevin Costner! Thanks for the vid.
Haha, yes, I've heard that and Tom Hanks a lot.

I leave mine on. Never had a problem.
Thank just buy one of thebensonamartic
I was gonna turn it on with. Lighter
But i came to my mine lets check youtube first
Steve are you smoking
mj oil. heating up a dabber and gettin high?
C'mon man, I thought you promised to keep that our little secret???
Awesome I got one.very very easy to use.
Hi,
Did you crosthreded first time when you put the bottle?
I use this one to take a FAT ASS Dab💨
I am going to get one for Mr. Girlfish for Christmas.
@Pamela Girlfish how's the torch doing?
Works great for cooking steak
Love the torch, but mine started leaking (blowing) out that little hole in the handle. Not sure why, it has been taken care of. So it's useless now.
Which camera did you use?
Canon G7X.
Does yours wobble when screwing on? It's almost like my propane tank lip is bent maybe?
Mine does not wobble so yours may have a defect. I'd replace it if I were you.
Mine dont have a trigger.. just a knob to turn gas on and off. Will it still work if I just turn gas on and ignite with lighter??
Yes it should
I have a blow torch but the nozzle won’t go on the tank can you help me as to why it would do that
When you see a bear you grab your Bernzomatic and burn the woods down thousands of acres will be lost and the bear will come back when all grows back. The End.
Hahahahaha, good story.
When I hike, I carry a miniature jet engine, never know when the bear will show up
Lol, great idea.
Not sure about a bear but the TS8000 is a real crowd pleaser with scorpions. I give them a double tap for good measure 🔥🔥
Haha. I use mine for black widows.
Looks like you cross threaded it.
same thought.
is there a difference in this and the ts8000t thanks
*The bear thing made me smile*
It’ll be nice to see it in action 😂
Maybe you can’t really weld 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kevin Costner? Is that you?
do you use it with mapp/pro gas? I purchased the kit and it came with mapp.
The TS8000 works with either MAP/Pro or regular propane. MAP/Pro burns about 150 degrees hotter (2,150 vs 1,900 degrees F.) but costs almost four times as much as propane ($11 vs $4). True MAPP gas is no longer made.
Sorry, MAP/Pro burns at 2.050 degrees F. vs propane at 1,900 degrees F. Not much hotter for almost four times the money.
Anyone else use this to smoke concentrates 🤔
Why is it so expensive??
What does it meat.....cut. What does it meant, shit......cut. Seriously, what does it mean when the flame is shooting out yellow? Thanks.
There's a blockage in the injector fracture point or pipe causing vitiantion. Lack of oxygen usually causes a floppy yellow flame. There should be an outer blue cone and an inner blue cone. The inner tip is the hottest part of the flame.
Can we cut flexiglas
I doubt it, not really meant to cut.
@@SteveSherron ! ... no way? What you think is best and easy for dis plexiglass?
does the lock button work tho?
Yes, works fine.
I fucked up, bought the st 4000.
Always go bigger, this is America.
Ts8000 More power!! go away suckers!
The smaller one is for brazing copper tube. The larger one will boil off the solder, so its no good for that.
How long would one 16 oz tank last you think?
Long, long time. I only use it occasionally and still have original tank.
Steve Sherron awesome
Get a b tank and a turbo torch if you want a real torch. This is for home owners.
TS8000 for more power! Because... bears?!
Wierd. He said Benzomatic. But it is Bernzomatic. I was sure it was benzomatic
I said it wrong in video.
Nice ! 👍 but if only they could possibly make this blow torch to blow a much longer Flame 🔥 ? Similar to a 'Flame Thrower' - 😨
BubS7*7*7 T. those gas containers have enough pressure to shoot a 1,5 meters flame, if you want to do that kind of flamethrower you Shure can.
It's a freaking bear
Can you get a holster for it so you can wear it like a pistol? I want to go grocery shopping wearing it. Forget "RING" mount that on your front door. HA!
Before you open it... it WILL NOT WORK ... You need a MAAP container....
Works perfect for me.
