If they took the Ski Sunday approach for broadcasting, they could do a privateer of the race or season and do a timeline view of them and how they improved etc?
I feel like there is more risk, but an easy way to help mitigate that is to make the tracks slightly less gnarly. I'm not saying they should turn them into groomers but make it so that less than 10% are out due to injury by the end of the year.
Top lad (literally, probly banging his top against door frames). Can we start with guest requests by now? I'd love to get a Kade epi, Kaos epi, and probly Tahnee epi. Particularly Kaos.
Thanks for a nother sleeper podcast. Do you know, ore if not can you ask him how a junior can race wc. Like the first wone if you get old inuf. Sorry for my bad english Thanks for the podcast🔥
If DH needs a face, it has to be Finn. An overall title contender, perfect english (obviously), good at interviews, young, likeable. Aaron and Greg would be great choices as well, I think, but they are more towards the end of their careers.
Gwin has been brilliant on the broadcasts adding the expert knowledge to the team who otherwise know very little about the sport. I would love to see him do more but if we wanted a current rider to be an ambassador, it would have to be Goldstone. He’s a brilliant rider (2nd in the overall in his first season as an elite rider with 2 WC wins) who’s full of energy and not camera shy- his track previews for GoPro are great along with his other work with GoPro following him around the season after his health issues.
Why not do two qualifying runs where the first run is highest standing first, and then you give the top 60 a second run option, starting with slowest first with an opt out option. Then if someone qualifies 5th on a gnarly track on the first run, and by the time its their turn to do their second run, they are in 7th. The rider can opt out because the 2 qualifying positions/points aren't worth the risk.
Tea & Biscuits is the best mtb film

You should start every podcast with that question!

Great podcast. However, Bens hair is quite disturbing 😀
Best mtb films: 3focus & seasons (and 3 minute gaps)

Good episode, I like that you're having the top people in Scottish riding on. Maybe Lewis Buchanan on an ep?
Cathro - get a haircut.
