You got it right that part of this show is about explaining why he is who he is and why he thinks the way he does
The ducks in the first episode symbolizing the fear of losing his family due to his mob life was an epic way of explaining his anxiety as a mobster. But the ducks are also are what humanized him, seeing a big bad mob boss breaking down in tears in a therapist office over his family. It was the beginning of a beloved anti-hero and imo the greatest and most complex character in television history
Tony essentially made Junior his fathers brother into what the mob calls a front boss. Tony was the real boss.

Meadow's friend and classmate is the daughter of David Chase, the creator and producer of The Sopranos.
If you notice only one time do they show Tony in shorts around his crew. The reason for that is after the episode aired the real mafia called the producers and let them know that the Don doesn't wear shorts. They even use that line in an episode. They even added that message into the show you hear Carmine tell Tony "A don doesn't wear shorts ".

So some people dont know this but Paulie was the real deal. He had real connections to the mafia. He even had one requirment when making Sopranos, in no way shape or form would his character ever be a rat. Since he never was one when he lived that life no way would he portray a charcter that became a rat on tv.

You pick the right content, a lot of 2pac, the Sopranos, classic movies, etc. You're intellectual and and notice the humorous scenes. Only thing distracting is your background lights, they flash to fast and are too bright, maybe some dim, dark color LED light strips will look better. More Sopranos please.

Tony's mother wished the Lord would take her to Himself, at this point I had to seriously ask myself where certain people get the conviction they would go to heaven in their current state instead of to "competition".🤔
Ive seen quite a few reactions to Sopranos and youre the first to really see how much finding out about his Dad affected AJ. You can see it really bothers him, & i feel like even a lot of fans of the show dont really get how much, or the implications of that.
Anyway another great reaction! Youre right, Carm is a snobby-ass in this one, & i cant really blame Charmaigne for what she said 🤷♀️ that said tho, i have a soft spot for Carm. She gets a lot of hate, and she's no angel but i feel she's misunderstood. This early in i cant say more w/out spoilers tho so i'll leave it there.
