It's for those who died sensely through The Troubles and up into the bombings of Derry. Too many people have covered it and turned their videos into a sci-fi film. Thanks for covering this and rocking it without turning it into something it's not. This song is sacred for those of us of Irish blood. It's for those who died sensely through The Troubles and up into the bombings of Derry. Too many people have covered it and turned their videos into a sci-fi film. I appreciate you doing an awesome cover, but still with respect.
I'm not even Irish and I get annoyed when bands or DJs play this as a Halloween song. It means so much more than the ONE word.
He always makes better cover versions than the original. I've never doubted him on that regard.
Not only those of Irish blood NW. The song was inspired by the bombing in Warrington. A bleak time for all of us, one which should be remembered and lessons learned so it's never repeated. I lived through it, some i know didn't. Peace to all.
