Because there are so many different variations based on which format you open, I decided to stick with just Hangers for Series 1 and it worked out well. I hit all the different SP's except the Golden Mirrors, and even a Platinum RC 1/1. I haven't hit a single Golden Mirror this year or last out of retail, and I have ripped a ton of it. Hobby seems to be the way for those if you are chasing. I'll probably stick with hangers to start with Series 2 as well.
That double down is hard! I had like 15 hc cards, and i hit Adley, and Polar Bear, those were the only 2, that i didnt double down, on! The rest, no-can-do! 😂

Yo I got an Evan Carter Gold Foil do you think it’s working sending to grade? I saw on eBay graded ones are selling for roughly $70-120 but I looked at grading prices and it’s like 40-80 bucks just to grade 😕
2024 base set is really an attractive set, both design wise and photo wise. What I do wish though is that Topps would put some effort into the back of the cards, it's a shame each year the back looks the same even though it's 50 percent of the real estate of the card.

Im not sure ehy prople have been complaining zbout the base rookoe checklist....we csn say it may be top end pitcher heavy, but the Japanese guys will sell and Harrison has Ace "stuff", not to mention the hitters rookies have a handful of potential stars in a few years. As long as the SP rookies arent like 1 in 5 cases, this should be a very intriguing set!
Its weird that they decided to change the rainbow foil design between series 1 and 2... series 1 had the black border along the top with the foil but series 2 doesnt have that same black border anymore 🤔
Mine has been with FedEx since Thursday. Zero updates since. I'm hoping it gets here on Wednesday for the release. But Topps likes to screw that up at times. I just like ripping flagship Topps. Very nostalgic for me.

All photos feel the same , nothing original. Compare to Score 96 or Donruss 84 fleer 82 any 90s tsc. Something's off with the feeling. Not fun anymore.

I'm working on a value sheet video for series 2 and I can confirm that there is a better way of pulling Golden Mirrors in a certain format.

The "Silver Slugger" was a manufactured relic. It's usually like a "Commemorative" piece.

It's weird because Shota Imanaga's SSP doesn't have a fully white border (at least the previews from Topps doesn't show that)
Feel like Jumbo's used to be the best value, but they look pretty bad now for the price. Might just stick to retail hangers/value packs.
I've been putting odds into a spreadsheet and Jumbos are WAY better in Series 2 than they were in series 1. Value Series coming soon.
