Monster boxes are nuts. I got one Series one and got a Yogi HFA, got a series 2 and got a Yamamoto HFA. If I had more money, I’d buy out my Walmart of these things. Hangers are bangers but they’re called monsters for a reason.
Just happened to grab a monster this afternoon. Had a fathers day /50, Elly foilboard, Acuna HFA, a gold /2024, blue /999 and 2 homerun challenge cards. 2 of these instead of a $90-$100 hobby seems like a no brainer.

Topps Super Box that I found at Barnes and Noble for $39.99 comes with ten series two 14 card packs one 5 pack of silver patterned foil board cards - It tuned out better than the Costco Value packs I got for $33.99
Ripped 3 boxes. Beyond a bunch of numbered cards and amazing inserts, I’ve hit a Lodolo Acetate, Alvarez Auto /199, and an Anthony Rizzo game used relic (that actually states the game). Great video Sir.

With the 2 1989 sets in Series 2, they doubled the number of foilboards per box from 4 to 8. Love the Megas for that reason this year. Crazy that you just got your first SP RC, makes me feel better about my lack of pulling one. Oh, and the parallels of the foilboards are only in the Megas, too. Had no idea of those auto'd CTCs! Wow, your Megas killed mine.
These are great, I ripped prolly 5-10 of them. But I didn’t have near the luck that you did! Lol also, of all the retail I’ve seen ripped, and ripped myself, you pulled the first SP I’ve seen. Nice rip
Nice numbered pull on those '89's and the SP! I'd love to pull a #'d relic and I've never hit an SP. Yeah Monster/Mega's are the way. I've pulled 3 #'d in the '89. My 3 #'d '89 are /99 Green Foilboard Elly De La Cruz RC, /50 Gold Foilboard Pedro Martinez and the best card I've ever pulled '89 AS 1/1 Black Foilboard Babe Ruth!
You should do some super boxes. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. I've bought 10 and have pulled 4 HFAs 2 autos 2 true photo variations a Golden mirror and a ton of numbered cards. They def stepped up on them this year.
Great video and loving how you break everything down but I’m gonna have to go with the jumbo box as my favorite. I just feel they give you more big hits not necessarily more hits, but I feel bigger are in those boxes.
I told you Stryker…. Monsters are the best! I’ve pulled golden mirrors, autos, team borders, Independence Day, true photos, and tons of numbered stuff! And for the price…..well…. You know.
I've had some pretty good luck with this format. I try to pick them up whenever I see them because I think people are catching onto the value of them. My local Wal-Mart gets wiped clean of the Series 2 monsters while the Series 2 blasters seem to collect dust.
My series 2 monster box pre-ordered from Fanatics on June 7 finally arrives this Saturday. My chrome hobby box pre-ordered from Topps arrives today…A day before the series 2 monster box. Seen monster boxes at retail stores for weeks. Don’t know why Fanatics takes so long. Called Fanatics and they said sorry about your luck but the website said guaranteed to ship by July 8. No mention it would ship on July 8 and take another week to deliver. No more pre-orders from Fanatics

Bought one monster box yesterday and hit a Nola /25 orange crackle. As a Phillies fan, I walked away pretty happy. I thought it was worth the rip regardless, though.

So you're telling me when I open two monster boxes, I only get a combined TWO numbered cards and a few base parallels, but when he opens his first two he gets a pile of #'ds, a relic, AND an auto???
I would personally. But if you're looking to sell, remember it is a 2nd year rookie card. And make sure it'll gem and will bring in the most value. A 9 is basically raw price (currently about $2-3 for raw) unfortunately, but it will still be nice for a PC. I'd guesstimate a 10 coming up at $50-60?
I pulled a mega stars Garret Cole /50 a Acuna Jr Independence Day /76 and a Triston Casas 89 on card auto out of two monster boxes. Debating whether I should hold them, list them, ir get them graded. What you suggest?
Hey Stryker what cha think of the super box format I know in past hasn't been good but I bought 3 hit 2 golden mirrors handful of #'s plus the all black foil board are selling well everyone is listed in auction sold
I think it's a good box for kids or collectors that don't rip a lot. It isn't the best format for chasing parallels or autographs, but has some good novelty.

So. With those 1st printed cards, will they be placed backwards in packs? Cause I'm going thru endless amounts of these that I bought so far, checking backs of every single card to make sure I didn't miss one... I also threw a bunch away as well, hopefully I didn't toss one.
I’ve ripped a decent amount of retail and the base parallels have been awful but the other hits (heavy lumber HFA all stars etc.) have been good. Absolutely no luck whatsoever with base ones though numbered and non numbered
About how many HFA’s are there per player. It’s normally a 10 player checklist . I thought I read there were about 6000 HFA cards per player. I thought you may have a better idea. Thanks!
I've had zero luck with anything. I need to stop falling for the scam. I can't possible open this much product so my results are more typical of the normal person
@@dylanrichey8332 Ive pulled a 1/1 printing plate from albies, bobby witt gold mirror, Evan Carter /199, Jordan lawler auto + tons of cool # cards from hangers. They are cheap, have a high ceiling but you definitely have to buy a few. I’ve had better luck recently getting them from Barnes & nobles.

I absolutely love this format. Best hits for me were an Ichiro relic, Evan Carter HFA and Yamamoto 89 purple /75.

Monster boxes are definitely so much worth it. I pulled a 5/5 Adrian Beltre 35th anniversary and was easily one of the best pulls I've ever gotten.

Dang, those City to City autos are 1:44,808 (packs i assume) out of the monster boxes. Sweet hit, wish they were on card for such a rare card.

code on the back bottom of card or just know that the image is different. also Langford only has an sp in this set.
