in wzm, players will get Alcatraz as Rebirth Island and mp map shoothouse. This is clear that they removed it intentionally.
obviously they won't bring it back if the community doesn't do anything. If the community voices against it then codm will be forced to bring the maps.

All good things come to an end. Is codm dying, in my opinion no, they will probably just transfer some of the necessary things from codm to wzm and leave the rest. The game will still work and time will tell.
CoD:M focuses heavily on MP and less on BR and it is the other thing for WZM. So I doubt that they would want to leave CoD:M.

Yesterday I reached Grandmaster 5. I got lined up in Shoot House 3 times in a row. When would I know that those were my last moments on CoD Mobile to play one of my most favorite maps ever.

I am in full support with boom. He is trying to defend the whole codm and Android community and for this he is exposing the false propaganda of the game, and the devs aren't responding to that. It was very clear 3 years ago, When they announced the project of WZM. There was a possibility that they will shut down codm or just stop doing maintenance work. This might eventually be the beginning, if they don't get enough players, soon they will eventually shut down the game..

Wow, I didn't expect the crappy-shoot house map to be deleted. That was an absolutely right decision. They need to make more cool maps alive, like vacant and suldal harbor. Shoot house is just a mess in the center, with camping at the corners and window positioning.
I have nothing to say about Alcatraz. It's good. Not enough to make a tragedy about it because BR is cringe, but I think that was a mistake. No way they will delete their favorite (and only) tournament BR map.

Way back in late 2021 I got my first nuke in codm. I was 11 when I did it I remember everything The map was Shoot house the gun was the mp5, the operator was Scylla Dark quill and Alcatraz is where I met my best friend on codm I got 43 kills the game I met her we’ve been playing ever since but now they took two of the most important maps for me away. I think it’s time I retire from cod even though I’ve only been playing since November of 2019

They removed it from the regular Battle Royale, they never updated it to Rebirth Island, and now they're completely killed it?
