Dan absolutely needs to work on his flouncing. For instance, there was absolutely no flouncing in this video. I don't think escape to rural France and Chateau Diaries are/will be interchangeable until Dan gets the flouncing down.
I swear Dan I never know what I am going to get when I press play on any of your videos but I do know better than to watch one late at night for fear of waking my roommates in uncontrollable laughter. I have to say that you and Phillip from How to renovate a chateau without killing your partner are by far the funniest 2 RUclipsrs in the chateau field and I would absolutely give anything to see you do French lessons with him and Nathan. I come from Tallahassee Florida and have slowly branched from Michael Pethrick to anything in renovating in France and have been transported to a world that I could have only read about before COVID shut down the world. COVID has been stressful and confining to most people but I have been home bound for years due to mobility issues so it didn’t really change my world much. What it did for RUclips content though is magical. I can’t say enough about the amazing people that I have watched and grown to care about even though I have never actually met any of you. You are family and no one can ever change my mind on that. My family thinks I am crazy when I talk about the 2-3 months I plan on traveling through France to see all of the many places I have fell in love with over the last year. They just don’t have the vision to see what my future dreams after the pandemic will look like. That’s okay because I know that it will be the best vacation I could ever give myself before I am to old to travel and my grandchildren and their children will talk about that crazy summer their MiMi took off to France and had the best adventure of her life. Thank you for sharing your life, your family, and your humor with this little old lady from Florida.
