I want to know that i already have kalezi floor on my roof... i want to install tiles 16×16 size,
Sir please guide me how to proceed.. whether i should go for waterproofing of roof with dr.fixit chemical on kalezi floor first before fixing tiles or can i directly apply tiles using cement & tile adhesive chemical bag and then grouting it with apoxy & urp chemical.

Maine apni chhat par waterproofing ka kaam karvaya hai jismein shamil hai:

Ab mujhe upar Tiles ya Kota lagani chahiye? Maine suna hai ki Kota ko polishing ki zarurat hoti hai aur XPS toot jayega, isliye mujhe Tiles lagani chahiye.???

Very informative video, Aaj kal roof gardening mein soil less potting mix use kiya ja raha hai roof mein load kam karne ke liye aur clay pot ki jagah plastic ka pot. Aap bataye ki normal roof construction mein roof slab per kitna load rakh sakhte hai. Iska koi load dene ka koi formula hai.

First of all ur info is very important ....i have fixed the grenite small pieces on my terrace .... before fixing of the grenite on my terrace it is very good and its not getting any leakages ...but after fixing of the grenite pieces my terrace is starting leakage ....so what should i do now...pls reply....🙏
Mera ghar 40 saal purana hai. Roof mai cracks aa gai the to hamne purani giroting hatwakar new groting (cement aur bajri) karvai thi. Magar 15 din baad hi usme cracks aa gai aur barish ke mausam mai har kamre mai seelan aa gai. Ab mai kuch time 1-2 saal baad upar banane ki soch raha hun. Kya mai asian paint damp proof karva lun filhal ya koi aur option hai. Kyunki agar mai kaleji ya tile lagwata hun to phir jab upar banwaunga to tor phor hogi. Pls. Batai.
But how to stop water leakage. Any special cement or chemical have to use at time of fixing tiles on roof. Pls let me know. Thanks

Will putting tiles keep cool the rooms below and is there any changes of water leakage?
The roof temp will come down by say 2 degree if white tile is used .As for leakage if the tile breaks or the joints form bigger gaps then the barrier is gone again and leakage will start.
