  • When I checked my hydraulic pressure on the 1723E it appeared to be almost 400 psi low but what I did not notice is that the fitting on the gauge I used was leaking! After I got it fixed I checked it again and was only about 100 psi low. WELL, I wanted to get it back up to factory specs (maybe a little more) so I set it at 2100 psi and put it to work! I tell you what! There is a noticable difference! I see no reason 2100 psi would not be safe! I could see if I ramped it up to 2500 or higher but I figure this is well within reason! Besides If I don't do it how will you ever know? Maybe if you want to cut grass and worry about wheel spacers you should not do this though?

There's really no reason to be in there for me! I have not learned one thing while in there. Well maybe where the pressure adjustment was and thats it!
I have been researching a turbo for this tractor. It will be way easier than a John deere!

Hey Stephen Thanks for the video , I beleive the factory setting is more to protect the people that flip their tractor than the actual tractor. remember your video where you are testing lifting your implement ? wonder if that would drastically change now ? anyway thanks , love the camera view . and stop worrying about what people think you don't even have to mentionne that in your video as this show it bug you and they like that. PS: no wheel spacer on mine but I do cut grass (about 60 % of the jobe my tractor do ) ;-) . I do not use my tractor as hard as you do so I let it stock . If I would live out of it that would be a different ball game. I would probably have the pressure set to around 2400 PSI . keep on going whith these video it show the work they can do.

I would have liked to have seen the video of turning the pressure up. Like you said in your comments it is your tractor and you paid for it. I am like you don’t really care about someone else’s opinion if they are not footing the bill. Keep doing what you do. That’s why I subscribed to your channel.

It's right behind the deck height adjustment. if you look in that hole you can see a 19mm bolt with a flat head screw in it.

I’ll have to look into it. But I thought my dealer said my tractor was set to 2200 psi from factory. Oh well but I do love my wheel spacers 3 inches go big or go home. Have a good day Steve

Do you have any issue with your pump whine? Mines always made the noise ever since it was new, doesn't affect the performance of the tractor just annoying as hell

Yes it used to because I always ran if full throttle but I put the new updated spring in it and now I don't use full throttle all the tim.
