So if you remember biology class when you were learning about how life is created, you should remember when the sperm meets the egg, well, when that happens, that’s an embryo. What happens in IVF is basically they will go the women’s uterus, collect eggs and then fertilize them outside(as many women have issues with the step) and then put them back in and hopefully it will take, and it will be a positive pregnancy, and the embryo will continue growing into a full-fledged foetus. They are basically 6 to 10 cells that hopefully will continue growing inside the women’s body to become a fetus. I don’t wanna argue about if this is human life, I don’t personally think it is, but you are up and open to your own opinions. But I really want people to know about is that this law would technically criminalize certain types of miscarriages(yes, these are non-abortion and natural). Many women in Alabama are poor and don’t get the proper nutrition they need. As you could probably imagine, growing an entire another human body in yours takes a very big to the body and you do need a good nutrition. When a woman doesn’t have the proper nutrition due to improper diet or certain health condition very well could be that the embryo would be causing to a miscarriage. The issue with this law that it states that it has the same rights as a child. And you see usually if a child goes due to a lack of nutrition, the parent get charged with manslaughter and child abuse. This is one, among a few other types of miscarriages might lead women to go to prison for child abuse and involuntary manslaughter. The Alabama state government hasn’t said anything about this yet, but by its wording, and by their logic, it should be considered involuntary manslaughter. PEOPLE WHO WANT CHILDREN PAY. NOT YOU.
IT'S NOT YOUR FREAKING BUSINESS.
Wow, sore spot. Yes, everyone is free to do what they want. However, damaging the ability to reproduce should be investigated. Causes for infertility and deformity should be investigated. No product has the right to damage me and cost me money to fix it. @@JSkyGemini
For sure something is happening the numbers are too high to be incidental. They took the same approach with autism. @@treytison1444

Doesn’t matter what people believe the definition of an embryo is an “unborn baby” period
Vote vote vote 🔵💙🇺🇲
No, it’s not. That’s like saying an egg is a chicken or a maggot is a fly.
@@tedmarley4341 no thanks I’ll stick with trump
Absolutely not. A FETUS is an unborn baby. A blastocyst? An embryo? Is NOT. So are you saying all these frozen embryos have souls inside them right NOW? While in the freezer? Just curious

It means they are all in limbo. Frozen and left in a container forever.
I'm not even pro-choice, and I think this is dumb.

Hell yeah, role tide
An Embryo is not a child. I see that argument all over the comment section.
A catipillar isn't a butterfly, but it is still a life. It's technically the same situation here.
Therefore an embryo is a life.
Ok, and? NO human life gets to use the organs of another human life without their permission, even if it means they die. If the Father has blood that will save a child or a fetus, and the child will die without it, NO ONE can force him to donate. So I guess you are going to be adopting a lot of those little "lives" since you are the one who claims it.
Unless that embryo is successfully implanted in a uterus, it will never be a child. It will remain an embryo in a freezer.
I mean sure? That doesn't really address the issue though? Muscle cells are "alive" yet we don't say ppl can't work out because that damages muscle cells. Something being "alive" doesn't really mean anything, at least as it pertains to making laws.
Amputations are HOMICIDE. Skin grafts are RESURRECTIONS!

From conception its a human. A living human in its early stage of development
Can't have it both ways.
@@mendiethegingerfam5521
There is no both ways. Its a human. Period.
It's a few human cells. That doesn't make a human anymore than a exponentially more cells you shedded today are human beings.
What’s next the house representatives going to declare that used condoms are potential human beings, so they are also treated as many human beings? How many sperm are in normal amount? Does one of those equal a human being too

It’s so funny how these old Republicans way past their childbearing years most mostly men want to tell women what they can do with their bodies
A child is a child.
This video has nothing to do with what a woman does with her own body. Those embryos are not “your body”. You can disagree with the decisions, but I hate that ignorant statement that so many use for abortion debates and cases like this.
They didn't mention embryos or abortion, you merely assumed they were.
Did you watch the video? The embryo is in a freezer not the woman. So double not her body. Unless her body is the freezer?
@@JustinFirth-t9l sorry you feel tje comment is ignorant. What pisses me off are conservatives that scream my body my chocie about a vaccine, that could actually stop them from spreading covid. But theywant to control a womans body when she decides to habe an abortion or discard frozen embryos. The only person pushing this agenda are conservatives way oast child bearing yrs and bearing couples that are unable to have a child.
