In order to understand why white was not worn after Labor Day, you would have to have lived during that time. White was considered a Spring/Summer/Vacay color. It is definitely an East Coast thing. The poplar beaches, Martha's Vineyard, Jones Beach, The Hamptons. White deflects heat, silk, linen, and cotton keeps you cool. Even stores stopped selling it after Labor Day. It was more about the fabric vs the color. Don't get me wrong, I truly enjoy your channel, but there is one word that I am tired of hearing on everybody's platform that is TREND. Denim is not a trend and never will be. The styles of jeans that you are talking about I've been wearing since the 60's, straight leg. They only style that Levi's made from their beginning. Wide-leg, high-waist jeans wore them big time in the 70's with platforms. I still wear these styles of jeans today, in all colors and washes. Barrel jeans have been around since 2017. Trends come and go. This is just fashion that has lasted the test of time or has been re-designed. Fashion does come back around at the right time!❤
I love this comment, thanks for teaching me about the wearing white after Labor Day saying. I didn’t know how it came about but this makes sense. As far as using the term trend, I think we do it so the RUclips algorithm picks it up more. I’m also trying to learn about seo and certain terms which basically helps so your video is seen more. I do agree that denim in general is not a trend but some styles do tend to be seen more at certain times like barrel jeans currently. There are classic styles though like a straight leg that are always in. I do agree, fashion absolutely does come back around! Thx again for watching and interacting with me ❤️

I am not big on denim pants so I agree with some of what you're saying. I dont think the barrel jeans will look good on me 😂
