2:22:40 fun fact, the guy you were playing against (apart from being Dutch in the first place) also recorded his own video series on the Dutch. So it was a fun little encounter to watch in the Dutch defense.
This channel makes me imagine a world where chess is judged by the most interesting moves rather than the best ones. Simon, sir, you would be world champion.
i finally finished the titled tuesday installment, the video rocks. you played some very excellent games and indeed came very close in a few others... life is always improving, go simon.
Wow 1:34:00 what AWESOME MOVES with multiple sacrifices for a forced mate in about 13 you pulled! Love your channel love your videos Simon. Just for feed back would be cool if you can do something about your screen names. It's blurred. Other then that, keep up the great work!
It's awesome entertainment, don't know if I like it more to watch you play or your instructional lessons (last watched the London System series), very likable and entertaining! I only started playing 4 months ago, but you (with others) helped me get to 1250 in rapid from fuck nowhere, so thank you! (And I liked your rook G5 :D)
33:18 this is a textbook win for Black, the Bishop can't defend both pawns on one diagonal, so the king just helps the pawn which is defended by the white bishop and he queens.
Hi Ginger GM, I find the scrolling distracting. My eyes keep getting drawn to the moving text. Have you considered just having a simple list of subscribers? The scrolling was so distracing that I was about to stop watching when I latched onto the idea of haning a sheet of paper over that part of the screen. I like the broadcasts. Peter
All you people talking about his "weak play", especially in that chat like Chessmiller, I'd like to see you play better than SImon. Better yet, I'd like to see you play in a high rated blitz tournament against GMs and IMs.
It never ceases to amaze me as to how you guys [ie GM's] can make a complete mockery of everything us lesser players have ever been taught or have studied about the opening phase of a game and still win!! So, if you can play like that and get away with it, what's the point of EVER studying opening theory?????
He would score much better scores in these titled Tuesdays if he didn't talk so much and intentionally play bad openings / overaggressive moves. But I guess it's all for the $$$ so definitely worth it for him.
Transvestite gambit would have won the tournament strokes after strokes mindexplosion after mindexplosion the impossible would become possible harry would merry garry and they would have a transvestite child everything is possible my friends after few glasses of vine 😂😂😂
Simon! Flynn is also the name of Trump's former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn that was forced to resign. Do you really want to throw that name around?
Simon - you need to have some sort of "fan competition" where the winner gets to come over and hang out in England for a day or so, drink beer &/or wine and play some chess with the Ginger. Sounds freaking awesome! :-)
God, I hope this chess Channel never ends, this is brilliant by far.
some terrific games here, Simon. Your tactical sacrifices are GREAT to watch

It was nice to see you play with some confidence again Simon!

1:08 I like how you sneak in the middle fingers there Simon
QuakePhil he didn't sneak them in - he clearly flipped everybody off 😄
stfu
Had a great time yesterday, thanks Simon and everyone who make that possible (including the chat)! Looking forward for the next one!
Great stuff Simon......More please.
that kh2 kh3 idea sure was creative :P too bad you didnt win after getting a winning position. woulda been an epic turn around
Powerful Ginger GM.
me: *thinking the rook swing was an amazing tactical decision*
simon: "That's the kind of move a 5-year old would play!"
me: ......well damn.
2:01:56 - Totally winning if you were to take the pinned knight! Fun stream man
BRINGM3LOVE i know, that was painful to watch, he was doing so well and then he missed that move
1:32:50 This position is so crushing. So many moves win. Love that knight on e7
Simon, while playing the King's Indian yourself as black, how would you face an early h4-h5 attack (or, say, your setup with Be2 and g4)?
where do i get that tshirt?
wich is the link for play tournament
Pawns, bugger off!
1:02:33 "Things Can Only Get Better" - performed by D:Ream, with keyboard player , the soon-to-be Professor Brian Cox....
What software do you use for recording and editing? Thanks!
i need to get one of those shirts:)

Go Harry, nice picture..
All you people talking about his "weak play", especially in that chat like Chessmiller, I'd like to see you play better than SImon. Better yet, I'd like to see you play in a high rated blitz tournament against GMs and IMs.
Logan Salyer Not to mention his style of play!
I like to refer to him as the "Tal of blitz". He would rather lose than play slow and boring moves or play for a draw. I respect the hell out of that
While simultaneously providing amazing and entertaining commentary.
EXACTLY
You should really try the halosar trap during a stream! Could be fun games
At 1:13:07 isn't Qh5+ followed by Qh7 mate?
Ke8
Oh lol sorry about that
If the white king wasn't in check (last move was Bg5+ by black), Qh5+ should be Qh5#. The dark-squared bishop is cutting the dark flight squares.
come on Harry do it
"So... Wesley So" haha savage
1:51:00 my level of math :D

Have to know the rules in order to break them
"3 rooks" LOL
1:18:00 to be fair that guy shouldn't listen stuff on work without headphones
2:01:56 take the knight
Play the Grunfeld
He would score much better scores in these titled Tuesdays if he didn't talk so much and intentionally play bad openings / overaggressive moves. But I guess it's all for the $$$ so definitely worth it for him.
2:01:56 I was yelling : TAKE THE KNIGHT!!! NOOOO!!
Dungeon = Loo 😁
The shite gambit *is* the Williams gambit. LoL. Love the streams, but after three, you are really hurting...
how is this guy a 2500 gm?
you should try to play crap openings while drinking a bottle of wine, and score quite well against bunch of title players...you have to be a GM
Gotta clean that cat hair off the microphone pretty soon Simon. ;)
Transvestite gambit would have won the tournament strokes after strokes mindexplosion after mindexplosion the impossible would become possible harry would merry garry and they would have a transvestite child everything is possible my friends after few glasses of vine 😂😂😂
lol

Blah blah blah
He comes across as such an everyday Joe, even though he's a Grandmaster, that its easy to get on his side. Well done Simon!

This guy is the best honest chess streamer, AND funny as hell!! 😅
50:10 isnt rd1 good? after he played rh6 dont you have rd7? to defend his g7 pawn he has to go qf8 and then you have rd8 winning the queen
simon i think u dont know that u can premove and by right clicking u can cancel it and so u can save some of ur time
That game against FM wnstop was psychotic.
In a good way of course
48:31 couldn't you play Rd7 there, winning the queen/game? Thought that's why you played Rd1 in the first place :D
Thank you for the videos Simon! They always cheer me up because you have a great personality. Keep up the videos and keep pushing Harry!
Hearing Simon ranting about Harry in 2x speed is greater than life itself.
Harry the B-pawn! Freddy the F-Pawn its coming soon! Sounds like good ha!Merry christmas cheers!
Playing a titled tournament and not knowing its 3+2.... Simon dear god man lol. Prize money on the line and all lmao!
