Small Town Sneakerhead Chelsea Dortch Takes Us Through Elkton, Kentucky

In Elkton, a small town in Kentucky, one’s hobbies and passions stick out as key points of conversation. For Chelsea Dortch, a college student and basketball fanatic, her main passion is collecting sneakers. In this latest episode of Small Town Sneaker Head, the Kentucky native speaks to her experience falling in love with sneakers and their significance in her life.
Although living in Elkton, Dortch’s life experiences span wide, including being a college student and working at a pharmacy. For Dortch however, her sneakers continue to remain a constant in her life. She also highlights other parts of her background and walks us through her closet of grails, including her Kentucky pride Nike Dunk High “Game Royals.”

Man, this reminds me back when I was in college in Bozeman MT. small college town and surprisingly has a footlocker ! Instantly became friend with the 2 guys who worked there. got the privilege to secure some of the hot drops back in the day. I remember when I visited that store the first time, me and the guy there had our first eye contact there and realize we both living that sneaker lyfe. lmao.

Elkton looks the same as it did 40 years ago, my grandma's house was on Main Street and within walking distance of the square.
