Bacci is from Italy. It has hazelnuts in it. I always gave it to my husband for Christmas. There are little love notes printed on the inner wrapper. 🇨🇦

I feel like Selfridges leave the classic Christmas decor to Fortnum's/Liberty/Harrods and they go for the more modern, funky vibes which really works for them.

Prague is a dark village against London, we do not have such a large selection and such large department stores.
Oh I always long for Praha in December. Lived there as a student (Film history/theory) and spent some holiday seasons in your magical city to cherish for life (I live in Stockholm, Sweden).

Don’t mortgage your flat! Go to a dollar store and grab holiday napkins and plates there. And wow….the music in the store was super loud. Is it always like that? I’m glad I found your vlogs. Well, at the risk of repeating myself Hannah, I think I died and went to chocolate heaven. The Christmas pastries were not only very decorative, but they looked absolutely delectable. The Christmas decorations were some of the most decorative I've seen. I don't blame you for not buying certain items, some of the Christmas items were a bit pricey. The halva sweets are made from ground sesame :) I think they originate from Israel or thereabouts. Never saw them offered as whole "cheeses", usually they come in bars. Lovely vlog, as always! And yeah, holy moly - Selfridges is a bit pricey, no joke. Can you imagine having a tree full of those 110 pound baubles?? They'd have to go into a safe after Xmas.

Prefer much prettier stuff and not on crack prices at Harrods and Liberty! to each is own but aint my cuppa either lol I like the Christmas lights out front :) see those, then job done!

Loved this. Selfridges always intrigued me since the show. All your shots were great. The chocolate displays are terrific. Oh my the makeup you bought. You are such a great sister! I would love to get that stuff for Christmas.
My favorite is the wiggly Christmas tree in that window since it really has to do with Xmas. The Christmas tree at the small fair in the back of Selfridges looks also nice. Those dressed up people at the fair are really nice. Love their dresses. Im a magpie when kt comes to glitzy decorations. So the Christmas market on 4 was absolutely stunning and my case. Lindt and Niederegger are German brands and also pricey here in Germany.

I did enjoy it - but like you, found it underwhelming compared to the other stores. The prices seemed so high - who knew you could get a bargain at Harrods! That said, its always fun to go along with you on these trips, and to see what catches your eye! Hoped you enjoyed the Baci (batchee) - delicious!

I liked the inside of the store, the escalator lighting was like being inside a big snow globe. Yes its stock is different, but not unique! I to am much more liberty F&M and Harrods. Selfridges just doesn't have the same prestige as the other iconic stores for me. It was good however as you always critique it fairly with an open mind. I really enjoy your walk abouts, Cheers again Hannah!

Wonderful video Hannah as usual, thank you so much. Selfridge’s it’s so expensive, I prefer Harrods, especially the food hall, some of the prices are very reasonable. The number of viewers you’re getting on your Christmas videos is remarkable this year. I think you will soon be signing autographs wherever you go🤣

Baci perugina are from Italy..they are chocolate with hazlenut and you get a Little messege inside each chocolate..in italy n they are available everywhere and are defenetley not your everyday chocolate..they are quite nice every now n then and very rich. I am italian n think Cadbury is the best.. Kinder is the Cadbury of Italy and i find it too sweet n oily. Pandoro n panettone are also italian n are available only during Christmas time.. traditional panettone has sultanas n canditi in it of you are a fan of dried fruit n traditional Pandoro is made from butter and is plain and you put icing Sugar on top n shake the bag..you can get both with creams and custards in center too. Lovely video thankyou for taking us around all these very nice places.

Lovely! The windows didn’t wow, but the trees inside are very nice. Good that every store is different in the ornaments they have and even some differences in treats. With working from home and the pandemic, I can’t even tell you the last time I wore makeup, but I’ve been thinking I’d like to for Christmas and may need a refresh on what have, so it was funny to see your haul. All of the food looks delicious! I I love perusing the shops just to look at all of the festive decorations. We have a place called South Coast Plaza that does insane Christmas decorations. They go all out! I would totally get a box of Godiva strawberries just for myself lol.

Selfrdges used to be much smaller in the seventies but, love watching your vlogs, i'm from Italy and was born and bred in England ....brings back some great times...a bit expensive these days

Baci is pronounched as Barchi It is Italian for kiss and is a hazelnut in dark chocolate. I am probably the last person to recommend them as I absolutely love them.

Dear Hannah, thanks for showing uo the Venezuelan food kiosk behind Selfridges. Being born in Venezuela, I will recommend Yuca which is a delicious fiber root and that can be eaten fried of boiled and Casabe which is a sort of pizza type made of Casabe, it would be like an enormous salt biscuit and these food come from the beginning of time as it was on the diet of the Caribbean and Arawak people. Arepa is too heavy and it is made from corn but if you find Cachapa which is a sugary soft type of corn pizza , it is delicious. You can fill the arepa with cheese, ham, aguacate (avocado), chicken or what ever you like. To drink a Chicha which is like a juice made from rice or a Chicha made from pine apple. Buen apetito

Selfridges was too expensive for the quality of goods I saw. I guess it’s just an iconic dept store because of PBS TV series we enjoyed here in America. The department store is too sterile looking without all the polished hardwood interiors and mas decor. Your family will be happy with your purchases. Always fun to browse. Thanks, Hannah.👋🏼💕🙂

I do like some North American chocolate but none of it compares to the original British Cadbury chocolate. The Cadbury chocolate in Canada is made differently but thankfully we have several British shops that import the real stuff. I noticed many different brands at Harrods and Selfridges but have never really bought any however I will pick up a variety of brands when I visit this Christmas.
The prices in the Selfridges Christmas department are obscene, they will need to have a 75% off sale to sell them after the 25th.
I love you Hannah, you were sort of underwhelmed with the Christmas and thought the prices high (I completely agree by the way) but then you got into the chocolates and you perked right up! 😂. I have always loved London! I first "learned about it" when I was in middle school in the US. Twiggy was new, and mini skirts and The Beatles too! All of the fun teen magazines had pictures of them, and the music was so much fun to listen to. Seeing the photo of girls in mini skirts on the bus in this video reminded me of all that! It was fun to be young when they were all young too!

Been looking for a tree at Balsam but didn't find any...that snowy Sheffield looked nice wish could find that in USA. Liked that light up globe. Nice selections there so next year must go to London if can. Honey truffles... interesting? Chocolate choc was different too. Too many choices I want them all. Cute makeup.

I really enjoyed the lights at night. I agree with you, some window displays are not very Christmas 🎄. I’m a chocolate lover and seeing all the wonderful selections has made my sweet tooth ache lol. I must say I would love the blown glass bobbles/ ornaments that were 70£ I believe. They were beautiful 🤩. Thank you again! Your vlogmas is really putting me in the holiday mood 💕🎉🍾

Hi Hannah..thank you for your wonderful “ viral shopping expeditions”… love them…I’m a Canadian, who lives in Florida in the winter, so while it may be very warm here, the Christmas Spirit is beautiful!…We lived in Nairobi, Kenya, for awhile and flew through Heathrow regularly to go home to Canada, and saw the fabulous shops & decorations at the airport …Christmas in the UK s gorgeous!💕

Wow those prices were ridiculous, you weren't just being cheap. I prefer the old fashioned windows myself. Being American and in the midwest we don't have big department stores like that. Baci are delicious hazelnut candies. I get them for Christmas from friends across the pond. Here in the U.S. we have something simiilar, Ferrero Rochas, but they are not nearly as good as Baci.
Baci Perugina Italian chocolates date from 1922. Baci means kisses, which actually refers to the shape of the chocolates. The ones shaped like kisses have a whole hazelnut on top. They are delicious!

Wow, I do love your videos! I agree with you about Selfridges window displays, I’m a bit of a traditional woman myself. I like the more Christmassy look😀 It’s a beautiful store though! And all that luxury chocolate!! I wish I could just pick a chocolate through my phone screen😀💛 Your purchases are so exciting! I could tell that you were wearing expensive make-up, as you are always really classy and glamorous. Your skin is flawless and glowing. I would love to try Armani foundation and some of the designer brands. I like YSL mascara. I don’t have any shops or choice of products where I live. It’s wonderful to see somewhere more upmarket. Miss Selfridges and the food hall. Also used to go to Dolly’s for Cream Tea and at one point they served small portion of Lobster mini sandwiches. Hard to hear you inside of Selfridges, but I am familiar with the store and so enjoyed you taking us there. Nice to see your purchases too.
