So I have a question. I am a mental health nurse.
Mr Tinashe, when you sit there across another man who openly and almost proudly talks about "PHYSICALLY ABUSING" his wife. You do not think to do the bare minimum of atleas telling him that it's wrong. I have continued to watch plenty of your shows with the hopes of some change in how you handle such topics when they are brought to your attention.
I can only imagine the pain that the woman you are interviewing feels when they speak out loud that they are literally being abused in their homes...talking directly to you but you don't intervene.
I am a strong believer in "People who hosts or interviews such individuals who are traumatised by such abuse NEED to have some background KNOWLEDGE into TRAUMA AND ABUSE. How belittling and morally wrong it is as a victim to sit and LISTEN to your abuser almost boasts about abusing you and NO ONE, NOT EVEN THE HOST does the bare minimum of verbally defending the victim. You do not even give her the emotional support on YOUR platform, instead she has to re-live the many many times she has been abused and speak about it to the world and YOU and yet nothing is done.
I am beyond sick and tired of such programmes who use another persons trauma or negative experiences to make money. All jokes aside, this is someones child.
I wonder MR Tinashe, after shooting these episodes. What organizations were contacted to help this woman. What safety measures were taken to protect her from here on forward SINCE she has basically told the world, her husbands abused her.
Its one thing to do your best and help and the help is rejected, but to not do anything? and even if you do something, there is no effort to even say you care.
You and your programm NEED these victims to make money, what do you give them in exchange.
Do better mhani, Zimbabwe we need to do better. A man putting their hands on a female is a weak ass excuse of a man. Absolute vial. Hitting a woman does not make you a man, having a dangly thing between your legs doesn't make you a man. If you wanna prove your masculinity.... FIGHT a MAN!.
