We are asked to find the median salary. In a large set of data the median is the 50th Percentile. So 50th percentile salary here is same as median salary

      Hello,
The median is the 50th percentile value in a data set.
z represents the value between the 54th and 58th percentile, and is therefore inconsequential to our calculation.
We were only concerned with values in and around the 50th percentile.
      Cheers.
