Thought I was a biker when doing a 4 hour trip on my GL1800! You sir are a true road warrior. Helmet off to you.
That Kawasaki Concourse has to be one tuff bike!
LOL... at least they didn't try to call it 5-Star in Ottowa. I think I stayed in the sister to that place in Anchorage, AK (downtown) once. When I went to check in, they asked me if I wanted to look at the bathroom. LOL... yeah... it was bad. A metal shower pan/stall which was nothing but rust (literally).
Sir you have bigger balls than Spalding. I dont even drive in much rain on pavement with my Goldwing. I dont drive on dirt in good weather if I can avoid it. You drove in some of Canadas' most remote regions, in the mud and rain, on a highway bike. Too bad about the hotel in Ottawa. I guess when they said cheap hotel they were not just referring to the price. There are much nicer ones in Ottawa. I hope you enjoyed your trips to our country.
Great footage for someone who has never driven this route!
What a great trip! Fantastic camping spots too.
Well done bud
Nicely done. And I like your choice off appropriately Celtic and humorous music ("Knock it off, Willie...") I won't get to so many places so rely on such folks as you. Thanks!
what a great compilation.. loved it
I'm really enjoying your videos! I like how you take that concours everywhere, even off road!
Watched this numerous times. And still enjoy it every time.
Great adventure, thanks for sharing! From the bad roads and wet rainy conditions, to having a bearing/axle mechanical, and the many many miles of beautiful scenery and history. Hope to see your next trip where ever new it takes you!
Rick, I just sat thru this entire video. I ride around the Fundy National Park where this video began. I enjoyed every second of it. Like all riders I dream of taking long trips but my health is not up to it. Every chance I get I look up videos, but I must say yours is by far the most enjoyable I have seen thus far. Thank you for sharing. I get to see places from a riders' perspective and that's great.
thank you for taking the time to share that great journey!! i just cant wait to be onthe road
Thank you for the wonderful video, l enjoyed every seconds of it. My wife and I had all those canned food just like you on our camping trip to the Eastern Provinces back in 2014. We didn't get to go see Newfoundland and now watched your video I see what we missed. Thank you again!
Rick, In this winter without an end (2017-2018) at least here in the midwest, you have inspired me. I'm going to Newfoundland this summer on the Super Tenere.... Thank you for that... And I love the shirt "the only boundaries are in your mind" and your sense of humor... rain splattered muddy road, "I'd hate to be here in bad weather." Thanks for the time and effort you've made in producing some truly inspring videos. When I view my first puffin next summer, I will think of you and thank you.
Hey Rick, I know this was a while back now, but I have to tell you how much I lovge these travelogues. As a fellow biker, every shot is perfect for conveying the mood of every moment. And I have a whole lotta respect for the Kwaka Concourse that took you where adventure bikes fear to tread ! Thanks, mate.
Absolutely awesome video. I love your integration of music. I quite literally laughed out loud at the, “On the road again, Knock it off Willie!” part.
Just finished watching the third and final (hopefully not) video of your trips. Great videos Rick, thanks for sharing your adventures. Safe travels.
Well done, Rick! I enjoyed watching your Alaska vids before I went there myself in 2014 on my V-Strom. It was a fantastic adventure! Now, I'm glad to see you've uploaded more trips. Nova Scotia and Newfoundland are on my list of places to ride. Thanks to you, I'm now considering the Trans Lab Hwy as well. Be safe.
